How come I can't see my friend in the dark zone? We were in a group together and played fine up until we entered. I see him on the map, but he's not phyiscally there.

Are you different levels? It zones you based on levels

Wow just looked this up. 4-7 can play together, but 8s are by themselves. I just hit 8 recently.

Yeah, the DZ is awesome when people aren't just shooting on sight. Me and a few randoms were helping each other extract loot after we grouped up on some rogues. Got to level 8 in the DZ in a short amount of time.

Well...played the beta for almost 7 hours straight and completed every side mission, encounter, etc. that was available until nothing else popped up. Aside from not having a crouch button, the only complaints I have are nit picky.

Game looks great, gunplay and cover system works very well. Cover to cover is easy once you know what you're doing. Overall, everything is damn good and im very much looking forward to the full game on March 8th.

Best of all, it appears that going into the Dark Zone alone is pretty much an instant death due to groups just sitting and waiting. I'm not going to spend $50 on PlayStation Plus just for that to happen and I have no interest in playing with others as a team/group so im happy that I'll be able to avoid that.

Granted, the dark zones appears to be 25% of the entire map and while I truly wish this game was a pure single player team based shooter with all the RPG elements fully intact, this minor problem isn't going to stop me from pre-ordering the game in a few weeks from Best Buy. I'm also tempted to go with the Gold Edition as 2 of the 3 expansion packs sound good but at the same time, I don't want to spend the extra money in case these areas are locked out for those who like me, don't have PlayStation Plus.

Playing The Division has also hyped me even more for Ghost Recon Wildlands which has been confirmed to be completely playable off-line solo as a team based shooter.

Based on just the beta, The Division appears to be an excellent game in my opinion and I can't wait to play the retail release.

I'll probably play through the Beta again tomorrow from start to finish.

I'm not sure why people say this because the game is designed so that you can get more powerful and better weapons and kill same enemies much easier, it's an MMO so keep that in mind, it's not Rainbow Six and it would, honestly, suck pretty bad if it was Rainbow Six online as it wouldn't work in regards to levelling.

Yea I understand that. It's just a lot more understanding with aliens as in destiny, but when you have guys in hoodies walking around NYC and taking an entire magazine to the head it's a little puzzling. But, being that it's an MMO I get it...

Press Left on the directional pad to select it and when your agent is holding the grenade, use the right analog to move the arrow/cursor to where you want the area to be hit and then press R2/RT to throw it.

FYI you can join a level 8's through the group management screen in the menu.

Hahaha I just had the best moment going rogue with my squad. There were 6 guys waiting to extract, I ran up and started doing jumping jacks. Everyone joined in thinking they were safe. As soon as the chopper landed and they started bunching up to extract, my squad and I all chucked grenades and killed everyone. We ended up with full bags each and extracted moments later.
