Re: Knack
Seeing scores being low for several other games as well and never really being into AC should I hold onto this?Comment

Re: Knack
I still want to play this and I'll take their complaints with a grain of salt when they still award COD: Ghosts and BF4 highly when they have the same issues.

Re: Knack
I still want to play it too. It doesn't look all that bad to me in the Giant Bomb Quick Look. They don't outright dismiss it, just sound indifferent towards it.

Re: Knack
I guess I was expecting that game to be something similar to my first game on the PS3, Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction. That game was amazing and really shined in what was next-gen then. After looking at the reviews and the videos, this game didn't appear to have that affect. I'm sure I'll play it eventually, but it isn't going to be a launch game for me. I want my PS4 launch game to blow me away like Ratchet did on the PS3.

Re: Knack
I'm having fun with this game. I picked it up because my fiancee isn't much of a gamer, but she enjoyed the demo in the store and it gave me a perfect reason to get a second controller as we can try co-op.
She's off at work and we still haven't had the oppotunity to play it together... but even the single player is fun for me.
Also, the game is simply gorgeous. I know the art direction/style may not be for everyone, but I'm pleasantly surprised considering how bad this game got knocked. All I can say is I've been having fun taking it for what it is while enjoying the beautiful visuals it has.badComment

Re: Knack
I got this to play with my 5 year old daughter who is new to gaming. We tried it out today and I think it's perfect for beginners. The co-op mode is perfect in how they can contribute, but if they die they're right back in with no penalty. My daughter had a lot of fun with it.Comment

Re: Knack
So can anyone else weigh in on this title? I have it, unopened with the ability to exchange it (part of the buy 2 get 1 deal release week) but no other PS4 titles that jump out at me. Perhaps Lego Marvel would be a better bet.....however that game would seem to lack and Next Gen "pop". I do have a 12 year old daughter who I originally was going to play this with, but she is having a blast with Little Big Planet 2 right now....which....seems to be a much more difficult game than Knack.....at least on the surface.
Any reason to hold onto this title?Comment

Re: Knack
I know in the past I have been okay with more kid like games that I play with my kid. But even based on this criteria it seems reviewers think it misses the mark.
I'm not into first person shooters and not really into fighters, so bf4, ghosts and injustice don't seem like better options.
I have considered getting NCAA 14 as a trade, but fear I won't really get into football on previous gen platform now that madden has upped the ante.
So any new input would be nice.
Thanks.Comment
