Forgot about Detroit for midwest. Vegas? Eh...

Vegas would be a great location, but not great for a full game. As someone from the area, there isn't much around there. Especially when people want a huge map for next gen. I mean there are mountains and desert around the city, but the city itself isn't big enough to keep people's interest.

They keep recycling so if not London then whatever GTA 2 was or Vice City.

GTA 2 had all three cities.

But they skipped Vice City. I wonder if they can't think of anything for Vice City, so they'll just skip it and create a new one?

That was GTA 1. GTA 2 had districts. There was like China town,Russia town and Redneck town I think.

I looked it up. GTA 2 is in "Anywhere City". Also was set in 2013.

For aesthetic purposes, I would love to return to Vice City.

I think it was my favorite GTA on the PS2. I absolutely love the Miami setting from that time period. I would love to see what they can do with it now.

Chicago and Las Vegas would be my other votes.

Yeah somewhere outside the US in foreign slums. Loved the way Brazil looked in Max Payne 3. I'm thinking Mexico, El Salvador, or Columbia.

In fact I think the next GTA should be like Sleeping Dogs where we play both sides of the badge.

Excuse me if I sound like a homer, but how has Pittsburgh never been in one of these types of games? It's got hills, rivers, tunnels, bridges, snow, good neighborhoods, bad neighborhoods, it's got everything.

I agree with this. But I'm also a bit biased, coming from Philly, I would love to see an open-world game set in Philly. The only time I can remember the city in a game was a level from one of the Tony Hawk games (3 or 4 I think).

With the way the handled GTAV as a play on the Southern California region, it would be pretty cool to do a PA/NJ region, combining Pittsburgh, Philly, and down to Atlantic City. Pittsburgh has a lot of character for a game like this (urban and rural, all four seasons, LOTS of elevation changes), then Philly is the big city and has very diverse neighborhoods and suburbs, and Atlantic City obviously has vegas-like qualities and the shore.

That's my vote, anyway. Vice City seems more likely. I was somewhat disappointed in the Los Santos/SA choice because they had already done it, but with how good it is, I'm not complaining now. I'm sure Vice would be quite good, but I'd still like to see something new.

If they set it in the present day, it absolutely has to be Vice City. It's the only one of the three main cities that didn't get a game on this current gen and it had the best storyline from the last gen. I know that Rockstar says that the PS2/Xbox games are a totally different universe than the PS3/360 universe, but who knows what the next gen has in store?

Now, if they set it sometime in the past I think Chicago would be perfect. Back during prohibition era (think Capone/Van Alden's storyline in Boardwalk Empire) could open up a lot of possibilities based on real life historic events.

I hope it's not London. I would hate to have to listen to those accents all day. Vice city is the most likely. All though Chicago or Texas would be cool. Although that is very unlikely. Just hope it's not liberty city

Las Vegas seems kind of obvious. I would love an Atlanta setting though.

For me, Vice City was so amazing mainly because it was in the eighties, modern Florida just wouldn't be as cool.

I think itll be vice city, but I also wouldnt look past something where they incorporate all 3 locations into 1 game (VC, LC, and SA) considering itll be next gen, and I think their "baby" is the GTA online, and thats is something that would take that to the next level
