Yeah garages only add a tracker, you HAVE to buy insurance (which I get because even the best of criminals don't get free insurance).

There was a bug in an earlier version that if you used your garage to get a tracker then bought insurance, the insurance wouldn't register. I lost about $200k that way after fully modding a Patriot and a Sabre Turbo (which I later got and modded again). This is why even though I know they fixed it I am scared to death to get my two most prized cars (Karin Sultan and Imponte Ruiner which both took me days to find) destroyed. But generally before I mod it I put a tracker and insurance on it then I destroy it to make sure the insurance saved so I don't waste money on modding a car again only to lose it completely.

This just about infuriates me more than anything in this game (even more than nerfing missions). This game is called Grand Theft Auto. The name literally means to steal high value cars.

I understand wanting you to have to spend some time getting them and even buying the occasional money card but there is a few things that could make this fact cool that they just haven't done I'll state a few below.

      1. Make them spawn on the streets a lot rarer and allow you to take it to Los Santos customs and have to pay a fee (40% of the actual price I'm making this number up) to have the tracker removed so you can then put your own on it.

      2. Allow you to store it in your garage and fit a tracker on it but you can't insure it (it is stolen after all) and every time the cops see you, you get a two star just like when your in a non-personal car. Until you go and remove the original tracker (keep in mind it could be more expensive now because it would now be a "super hot" car.

      3. If you keep it and don't get the tracker removed you can get guys like Muggers coming after the car, hired by the npc you stole the car from (even if you kill him he still has a wife/husband, kids, friends, etc that could send him after you).

Those ideas are with the few minutes I had since reading this. I'm sure rockstar could come up with something better but having to buy every car luxury car at full price is absurd in a game of this nature.

The issue with the OS crew for myself was the number of random people who while they might be on the forums, I had little/no interaction with. Then they come in yelling into their mic running their mouth which isn't something I wanted to deal with. I am thankful to be part of a crew with guys who enjoy the same type of gaming I do and who are respectful of each others. And after our experience with someone I know last night, I don't plan on gaming with anyone who's not in the crew...other than randoms in a few races here and there.

I think it's because it kind of getting repetitive but I have fun with it sometimes as long as other people are on: me , KramerKing & RawDeal were making the most outta things last night did quite a few missions and chilled at my crib

This is the issue I have as well, and agree 100%.
I'll constantly get invites, but if I don't know who it is,I won't accept simple as that.
Also,if some of those who send the invites really wanted to,they could send friend invites because our names will show up in their mission or race or whatever, and all that would be needed is to remember 1 or 2 names and shoot invites.

Also, alot of the invites I get are for races of some sort...and while those can be cool,I sure as hell don't want to constantly do those.

As Strongtakeover mentioned, him,Rawdeal and myself had a blast last night...doing missions and just some random stuff...picking up gang attacks we haven't done yet and doing some of the higher missions since Raw is level 55 or 56.

I mean...I'll get in Raws car and switch the radio on,and start singing while we're driving to a job...Raw actually went back to his crib to change clothes after 1 of our jobs,AND was even going to take a shower

But I see what you mean Coffey...it seems like it's cooler for some to be "associated" with a crew, but when it comes to playing with them,it'a a completely different story.

I have a "circle" of 3 that I play with most...Rawdeal,Strongtakeover and Hustlinowl...and I have a blast with all those dudes...would it be better with more? sure it would...but if not,oh well.

I am usually on every night too, but yea the number of PS3 crew guys is way down.

R* needs to put heists in like yesterday, online is getting stale, and now that I am getting level 5 missions from simeon and lester is sending me repeat missions I did a month ago all there is left to do is races and parachute jumps lol.

I was on last night for like the first time in about a week. I saw you on HustlinOwl as well as KramerKing, but it seemed like you all were doing your own thing. I was also tired and hopped off right when StrongTakeover got on. I have been preoccupied with the NBA season mainly but have also been playing the single player more as late. I am trying to finish up things like the stunt jumps, random events, ect. I plan to be on later tonight. I do feel that the online could have been better though. Maybe it is just the anticipation for the PS4 that is 2 weeks away.

I joined you for 1 mission last night. That was the only mission I did with a crew member while I was on for a good 3 hours. There were a few other crew members playing, but they never did any missions.

I guess it's just getting old. You can only drive to point A, kill people, and drive to point B so many times.

I found myself getting bored with GTA Online after playing a lot initially. There just isn't enough to do to get money that doesn't feel like you are grinding. Plus racing all day gets boring and repeating mission for 2000 feels pointless.

They need to add heists soon or this game may find it's way out of my rotation.
