The amount of money on the bottom is how much is in the bank. The amount above that is how much you have on your person. To buy most things from your phone, you have to have that amount banked. You can only own one property so you do not need a house to but a garage and vice-versa. What is probably happening is you have the money to buy it but it isn't in your bank and so when you go to purchase it, it sees that you don't have enough in your bank and is telling you that you must get more.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
So is anyone still playing this? I finally got into it a week or two ago now with the Son and we have a good time for the most part but I can already tell I'll get bored of it soon. Is everyone waiting for the heists DLC to hit or have many simply moved on to other games at this point?
Side note, servers were down last night through today for maintenance, when the Son got on all his cash had been wiped clean lol, apparently at some point a guy was in a session giving out money so he ended up with over $200 million just from that guy, well Rockstar stripped him down to $250k now, kinda sucks for him but I couldnt help but laugh a little.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Yeah they didnt touch his cars and left him with $250k in his bank but they stripped the rest away. Hopefully now that this is all done they can get those heists out soon since apparently they wanted to take care of this first.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
It is crazy that 4 months have passed and still no heists or a date for when they'll drop.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
I'm pretty much back to where I was last semester in not being able to game for a while, at least until I get my schedule fully fleshed out. But when I do, GTA is where I'll venture first.
I've been so busy I'm only about 30% finished with The Last of Us. I haven't even taken Gran Turismo 6, Tiger Woods 14, or Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus out of their shrink wraps.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Question for anyone that might know, has anyone been able to find the Obey Tailgater somewhere? It's the car Michael drives in the offline portion of the game and apparently it's next to impossible to find and only seems to spawn if Simeon has text you and it's listed as one of the cars he wants you to get.Comment

Spoiler
The Obey Tailgater is a four-door saloon appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The Tailgater features styling elements that have been inspired by the Audi A6 (C6) for the overall body design, and the Audi A8 (D4) for the grille, lower body bulge, and ten-spoke wheels. However, the quarter panel bulges appear to have been inspired by the Audi RS6 (C6). The headlights are very similar to ones on the Holden Commodore (VZ) with...
GTA Online
Offered as a choice of starting car.
Appears sometimes in the parking lot of the Los Santos Golf Club.
Parked behind the tennis court in Vespucci Beach.
Maybe a High Priority Car for Simeon Yetarian's Import/Export Garage. It is rarely seen in traffic, and when it is, the driver drives recklessly, making you chase them.Aaron

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Speaking of cars that are a pain in the *** to find, R* ate my Rat Loader in the 2 months since I've played so I have to go find another one of those.
Apparently they classified it as a utility vehicle, took it out of everyone's garage, then realized that was stupid and reclassified it and made the upgrades for it free. But they didn't give it back, and finding the ****ing thing took me forever.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online
Disappointed to hear that heists are still a no-go online. I don't have access to my console right now, but I would consider that one of the bigger gaming let downs in a long time, considering the hype and excitement I had for GTA Online.Comment
