Anyone know when ground forces comes out? -
Re: War Thunder - PC - PS4 Launch Title
I remember reading somewhere that it's suppose to be released in V1.39 but don't remember where I read it and I'm unable to find anything on it. The only thing I can point you to is War Thunder's Roadmap website link. Note 1st bullet under "Nearing Release", player-controlled ground forces.
Not only will we operate planes but tanks too!Comment

What sticks and rudders do you guys use?
I'm using this one, but I modded the spring and removed it. I like it much better since it gives much more precise adjustments.
Saitek Rudders
I'm having some issues with my headtrack so I'm looking at the TrackIR5 right now. Going to grab one off e-bay in near future I believe if I can't get this on working like I want.
Also wanting to get a new stick in future which has separate throttle quad.
Nice little set up. I am strictly on the PS4, so my setup consist of a neat headset and a sleek and sexy DS4Comment

Re: War Thunder - PC - PS4 Launch Title
Not 100% sure Quint but v1.37 upgraded on the PC was also upgraded on PS4. We are currently in v1.37.
However, I think this beta test they're advertising is for PC only tonight. Or whatever CBT members are. Wish someone with "the know" would comment in here.Comment

Re: War Thunder - PC - PS4 Launch Title
Found this from WT's Forum Community Manager.........
When Gaijin Entertainment announced War Thunder release for the next-gen PlayStation 4 console, we were going to give pilots using PC and PS4 the ability to play with each other. We are still dedicated to this goal.
The game update that will fully synchronize the versions and enable the cross-play function has already been developed and approved by Sony Computer Entertainment. Unfortunately, SOE didn’t finalize its PS4 patching system, and the current one makes its users download all the previously released patches even if we only release a minor one. This basically prohibits us from releasing any new War Thunder content until Sony Computer Entertainment changes this rule.
So as Soon as the PS4 patching system gets fixed, we will release the update and do our best to make War Thunder the first PS4 cross-play game ever.
Best regards,
War Thunder team
