Naw, you boys would be fine against me. Very average pilot. Heck, I have never shot down a Spit with a Dauntless, I can tell you that!

I truly do advise getting the Spits though. They are wondrous. And keep going with them until you get the Mk IIb with the cannon. I checked my stats yesterday. Obviously it is one of the last planes I have unlocked. Yet I have more kills with it than any other plane in my stable, followed by...my two other Spits. Remarkable.

I do fly other countries though. Currently every country but US as I mentioned. Lots planes out there that you can have success with.

I do find teammates frustrating when they ignore the goals of the mission and I wish we had voice chat. And I have no idea why it is so expensive (240 crew points) to hire one experienced gunner for your bomber. Seems like you will never have an experienced crew that way.

Love the game though and would love to hook up with you guys. I'll gladly be a wingman. :-)

Good Lord, that is horrible. It seems so out of line with everything else. You would think they better be expert marksmen and you ought to be able to choose which gun they take up on the bomber. I just don't get it.

War Thunder - PC - PS4 Launch Title

Really bad day behind the stick for me today. I think I flew 5 missions and had 4 total kills and maybe 5 assists. Really bad flying. Wasted my Spit IIb 2X on crash landings in domination. Took out my IL-2 and got maybe 1 or 2 hits before being downed. Did get a rocket kill later but it was small consolation. May try again later tonight, but it was pretty brutal this afternoon. Did manage to unlock my Wellington bomber so that is gonna force the Hurricane I back to the hangar. On the long, long road to unlocking Spitfire Mk V now. That is gonna take forever.

Never try a landing with a Spit in air domination, especially through all that chaos! Let the lesser planes do that! Remember to keep one thing to heart. Always end the day/night with a victory.

Yeah I went back in tonight and had a bit more luck, though nothing great. Man, teammates can piss me off. I started a mission with my Russian planes. My IL-2 is really my only Russian plane I can rely on to get me kills. The mission starts, I am flying straight ahead. A teammate turns into me and crashes us both maybe 10 seconds into the mission. I had not even touched the controller yet to maneuver. Nice job, Ace. Now I still have 24 minutes and 45 seconds to go in the mission and my best plane is gone.

I believe they man the guns/turrets, they are not experienced so their aim is not so good. I think you are training to have more experienced gunners.

That was a thing of beauty. Nicely done, man.

Played a bit last night and ran into some superb pilots on both sides. One of my teammates had 8 kills in one mission and an opponent had 9 in the same mission. Interestingly enough, one was flying a P-63 and the other was flying a P-400. In the hands of the right pilots, those things are deadly.

I will never, ever approach that level. I think I had 1 kill and 3 assists in that same mission.

Had a decent day today, for me anyway. Had a couple of missions where I got 3 kills and numerous assists, Getting closer to my Bf-109 too, though still will take a few more days before I can get it.

Some guys boggle my mind though. One of my teammates had 12 kills in a single mission. 12! I don't think I even get that many planes in my sights in one mission. Incredible. I did not see what plane(s) he was flying but it had to be something with a cannon, that's for sure.

You would think in this day and age you would be able to get some info on that. But I have looked high and low for weeks if not months, and I cannot get any solid info on the release date. Even rumors are hard to come by. It's ridiculous.
