Got everyone unlocked and even leveled Uther to Level 10 winning maybe 50% of battles. I'm having a lot more success with the Priest. Loving this game. What is your bnet?

Anyone know when the open beta begins? Have yet to get a beta invite. Definitely looking forward to this. I had never tried any MTG type of game until I downloaded the Magic 2013 app for the iPad, and despite just being a novice at the game, the strategy involved is really fun.

I like the idea of Hearthstone being a little simpler, but it still seems to maintain the idea of "easy to learn, hard to master".

Just was playing today actually and now have a Paladin, Warrior and Priest over Level 10.

This game is hilarious. I lost 3 in a row and changed my deck around (less high numbers, more 1/1 minions). Went on a 4 game winning streak and I'm thinking I've got to stay up until this ends! What am I gonna do!!

Absolutely steam rolled the next game. That's the way it goes. If I come across any more beta invites I'll post them.

Same here. I've been running with the Mage since I started, but an arena run through with a Paladin deck is making me try new classes. And if I happen to come across another beta invite, I'll definitely post it up here for someone to use. Great game for sure.

they have not announced an official day, but it is supposed to be this month sometime.

Got a beta invite yesterday. Game is basically digital crack, although i'm still learning the ins and outs of the game.

Been rolling through the practice mode against the AI to unlock decks and just to practice. Lost a couple of games, and have yet to beat the Shaman. He winds up with so many minions on the board that I can't clear, and before I know it, I'm completely overwhelmed. Guess I just need a luckier draw and a little bit better planning.

Not sure if I'm ready to jump into arena mode yet, but I will probably try it later today. I only have two more classes to unlock, so I'll probably try to do that first.

How do you go about getting legendary cards? Is it just something you have to get lucky to unlock?

I just had a guy play Deathwing at the near end of a round. Incase anyone hasn't run into this card yet, it costs I believe 10 mana, has 12 attack and 12 HP, and when it's played, it wipes every card off of the board. Sadly for him, I had been saving the card in my hand that turns any minion into a sheep. I wish I could have seen the look on his face.

I drew a charge minion on the next draw and finished him off.

Also, do you guys play with the default sets or make your own decks? I've been playing mostly default, but I made custom mage and custom hunter decks and it was fun. I don't think i've really unlocked enough cards to make it much of advantage building my own deck yet however.

I personally only disenchant the extra cards I get from packs (the game will ask you if you want to do that automatically).

You can't have more than 2 of the same card in a deck. So I'd suggest breakdown any cards that you have more than 2 of, that way you have a set to use if you ever need that card for a deck.
