Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
I never quite understood this opinion but hey, that's why we have them lol.
For me, $60 ($47 with Prime or GCU) for a 10-12 HR campaign that I'll play at least twice (plus MP) is equal or better in value than dropping $15 on a 90 minute movie.
Again, my opinion, but yah.Comment

Plus, the quality of those 8-12 hours is top-notch and well worth the price.

Of course a video game is much better value than seeing a movie in a theater.I never quite understood this opinion but hey, that's why we have them lol.

To expand a bit more on what I'm trying to say, if I'm going to buy a game day one I'd just like to get a lot of value out of it, and the Uncharted games typically aren't packed with content. I think I beat UC3 in like 6-7 hours, and I'm not the type to rush through a game.
Now that I'm thinking about it, if UC4 is really short like the others, I may just rent it for two or three days and play it that way.Comment

Haha not sure why that's the only part of your post that I was able to quote.
If you think $15 is too much to spend for a movie (and don't get me wrong, I agree), and the most precious value there is time, what about a meal that might last you twelve minutes, including a $40 steak? Haha.
I was just poking fun.

Ah I gotcha.
Well to clarify, I'm not saying $15 is too much, just that a game is a better value.
As far as food, that's one of my favorite things to spend money on. The wifey and I love trying/going to new/good restaurants, especially living in Dallas. They're everywhere :-)

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
I played and completed all three Uncharted games and I easily put in over 20 hours for each one so I don't know anyone is going through them that quickly. Even The Order: 1886 took me just over 14 hours on my play through. I think people just zoom through the game so they can complain about how short it is even though in reality and actuality, it isn't.
The Last of Us took me over 30 hours but I was doing a lot of stealth but still, all of Naughty Dog games have been 20+ hours each for me. And that's playing on normal. Higher difficulty levels would take even longer.
The Order 1886 and Until Dawn were both an 8/10 for me and they were 14 hours and 10 hours respectively. Two good solid games and im expecting Uncharted 4 to be 20+ and easily hit at the very least, a 9/10 for me.
I'm not the biggest Uncharted or Naughty Dog fan but if I could only buy one $60 for the first half of 2016, I would pick Uncharted 4 and considering how much of a Ubisoft fanboy I am, that's saying something.Comment
