    Damn you Naughty Dog...

    Y'all gone & done it again....#amazing

Love TLOU feel to it, love the minimal HUD - what isn't there to love about this whole series. The PS3 versions still stand the test of time vs current gen systems, yet this to looks to be a stunning conclusion - can't wait.
Currently playing on PS5 & XBOX SERIES X:
    • EA Sports College Football 25 - PS5
    • MLB The Show 24 - PS5
    • The Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM - XBOX SERIES X

As much as I love this series and the characters, I gotta admit, I'm anxious for it to finish just to see what Naughty Dog comes up with next to pair alongside The Last of Us going forward.

Graphically it is everything I hoped for and more. Absolutely stunning visuals. My god I cannot wait for this.

30 is the new 60 though . This alpha demo is at 'a stable 30', and have a year to refine things but will be surprised if the final product isn't 30 too like other big exclusives next year (The Order, Bloodborne)

I hate 30 FPS. I know I know, 60 is tough to achieve. But damn, it really is worth it for gaming.

It's either that or sacrifice the 1080p and most console crazies are going to moan for the 1080 because "Da graphix!." I for one don't really mind the 30fps for certain games. Obviously racing games and fps should pretty much always be 60fps but everything else it isn't going to affect too much.
An example would be open world games, people accept they are limited because they are open world an no one complains except for PC guys, but as soon as a linear game comes and it's 30fps all hell breaks loose(Order, Uncharted) unless the game makes it completely irrelevant(Bloodborne and The Last of Us). I just wish we could do that with all games and go back to how it used to be before harping on frame rates and resolution was all that seemed to matter.

A little off topic, but what current games run at 60fps? I want to see what the difference is.

One thing you can do is play a game that actually has a 30 FPS/60 FPS toggle, such as The Last of Us Remastered. That will allow you to do one then the next with the same exact environment.

I couldn't give you a list of which games do exactly though, because I only own three games. TLoU, KillZone: Shadow Fall (60 FPS), and GTA V (30 FPS or less). I'm guessing most all FPS games this generation will be 60 FPS. COD always aims to be on consoles, and Battlefield has stepped up their console game as well (same with KZ). Don't know about Destiny. But as we said, shooters and racers damn better be 60 FPS.

It's one of those things IMO that is more of a necessity than a luxury, because as you said, you might not be completely enthralled by the beauty of 60 FPS, but you might be turned off by the hideousness that can be 30 FPS. Same with jaggies versus good anti-aliasing.

Having never played any of the Uncharted games (I'm hoping to correct that by this Spring/Summer and find a BC PS3) are the action sequences similar to what was shown? It seemed very cinematic in a fluid and badass way.

Yes, the action sequences are similar throughout all the Uncharted games. You're in for a treat if you decide to play through them all.

Yes, similar but U4 looks like it's taking it to another level......

I really believe that ND will remaster the previous 3 prior to releasing U4 but a BC PS3 is always nice to have.

By the way. U2's opening act was one of the greatest games starts I've ever encountered.
