      Re: Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Got it today...This game is sick!!!

The graphics are really, really sharp. The first SC had nice graphics also, so its not a significant leap in visuals, but the first level is a pseudo training level (you don't need the original SC to get the hang of this one, P2K)that teaches you the control layout as you creep through an indonesian village, and the textures, water effects, grass and environments are all sick. Theres a movie-like symphonic soundtrack in the background, it may be one of the most immersive games EVER. Its feels like a great spy-flick.

The controls are almost identical to the first game. Everything feels familiar, including the look of the menu. Theres a few new moves such as a nifty "Swat-roll" that lets you spin from one side of a doorway to the other. You can now shift from side to side on the wall split-jump also.

So far its a good improvement on one of the best games ever made, so for those who never played Splinter Cell you're in for a real treat.

I don't have XBL, but I read the real fun of the new SC is the online modes. I read its all stealth instead of run&gun.

                  Re: Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

I got the game last night, and played mostly online with it. The game is great! With everyone still learning how to play it was real fun just trying things out and getting used to the controls. All of the games are object based which makes the game more entertaining then just see who you can kill.
