Yeah, that's going to be a pain in the *** to repair.

I found a wrecked shuttle and claimed it last week, but taking a closer look at the damage, it's going to cost out the *** to fix everything. I'm talking stuff like 3000 Chromatic Metal, 180 Gold, 1800 Paraffinium, 50 Pugneum, 16 Technology Modules and even more resources beyond that. It's only a Class C shuttle with 20 slots, so it's not even a good ship.

I wish they gave us a way to straight up sell ships like we can resources and inventory items. I'd rather just find busted ships, fix the launch thrusters and pulse engine, get the ship back to a space station and sell it. Anything less than a S or an A class fighter or hauler with 40+ slots, I'm not even going to bother adding them to my collection anymore.

I’m done with broken down ships unless I find an S class. Not even sure if that’s possible though.

I’m done with broken down ships unless I find an S class. Not even sure if that’s possible though.

Yeah, that's going to be what I'll have to do with the two crappy ships I found. Build up my units so I can use one of those crappy ships towards a trade for a S class ship at the space station. Until then, I guess I'm stuck with them.

Either that, or get them flying and trade them in for a really cheap ship. I've come across some C and B class ships that were only 1 or 2 million units straight up because they had 20 or fewer slots. At least that'd give me a working ship that if anything, I could use it as a storage ship for the thousands of Pyrite and Uranium that I'm trying to find inventory space for right now.

Just picked this back up and WOW what a difference. I have only been into it for about 5 hours or so but this is the game I believe we all wanted 2 years ago. I have to give them some credit for sticking with it and to keep working on it.

I have been very impressed with the variety of planets. My favorite so far, even though there was not much there, was a complete wasteland planet but this time it was all water with little islands scattered around that were barely big enough to land a ship on.

According to my spreadsheet, the most I've had was 74 on of my old base planets from back before 1.3 (Atlas Rises). This may not be accurate though since it was the 1.31 update that introduced the waypoint count and the update had also rebooted the galaxy and many things were changed about the planet.

Most since 1.31 was 44, though I didn't have a base on that planet (was actually a High radio source planet). I guess I just spent a lot of time on that planet for whatever reason and/or it was one of the ones where there are tons of waypoints to find.

Not even sure I’ve found more than 1 assuming you are talking about those beacons you hit x on then they say you discovered an area.


Do you need to find these things? I jump around way too much. Only planet I spend a ton of time on is the one I live on. Think I did my 25th warp last night.

Yeah, those beacons you hit X on and get the discovered sector message, always present around building, outposts, drop pods, etc.

I think I have sufficiently scoured the current supercritical planet I'm on. I've spent literally the entire past week on this single planet. My waypoint discovery count for the planet is currently up to 121, lmao.

Finally popped this back in last night after a couple weeks of reading everyone's cool stories. Gotta say that it felt completely different than I remember.

For one, the graphics seem better and more realistic (though that could be me mis-remembering). Then, everything seems so much more "alive" to me. I started just grabbing some random ferrite and carbon before finding my ship. Needed something that was picked up on scanner a little ways away so started out to that before getting caught in some sort of storm and dying. Had a blast despite only having about 45 minutes to play. As Bullit said, I think this is the game I was hoping for when I pre-ordered!

Ugh! Had to restart because of a bad save. I died getting the whispering eggs, when it loaded again I was on the space station with no inventory or money. Couldn't get off the station or buy anything. Reloaded both the auto save and manual one and both were the same. So mad! I had 30 hours in the save.

Nice to see these devs are into stealth nerfing things too. I don’t see anything in the patch notes about liquid explosives value being decreased and if definitely has.

Yeah, I found that out last night when I got some liquid explosive from a crashed freighter. I get nerfing some things like the whispering eggs, but if they keep nerfing tons of things, it's going to kill my fun. There's gotta be some ways to make some money semi-quickly or easily.

Yup. It’s pretty annoying. I strategically spent hours building a farm to produce liquid explosives. I’m making like 400k less an explosive now. I wish I could get those hours back. I don’t get it. Is it really worth them pissing off their player base in a pve game by trying to sneak these changes by us to make the game even more of a grind?
