    Re: No Man's Sky

I heard the game will be available to play at the PlayStation Experience in Vegas this weekend. Hopefully, someone from OS who maybe going, gets the chance to play this and give feedback.

        Re: No Man's Sky

New video that explains much of the gameplay, including a black hole in the center of the galaxy and portals at space stations. Video is like 14 mins long but there's lots of info.......

              Re: No Man's Sky

I'm still excited for this game. Wonder how it plays and what people think about it. We should be able to find out this week at Playstation Experience from videos and reports.

Only gripe is that spaceships are not customizable, but have to force you to buy new ones. Well this would make players choose wisely when getting ships.

Man that trailer didn't hype me. I wish they'd have made entering a planet much more in depth. Seems like going up a mountain and you're in space almost, if that

It was just a teaser as it's supposed to be shown more in-depth tomorrow at PSX. Game looks great and after reading the post above with the spoiler tag, it will be one hell of a game as long as the gameplay is good.

Timeout... was I just watching a YouTube video in 60 FPS, or do my eyes deceive me?

Since when has YouTube allowed 60 FPS?

Around late October I read about them finally allowing 60 FPS videos.

As for it being a teaser I dont know the release date but they've done a really poor job explaining this game and its objective til now honestly.

I don't think that they've done a poor job at all simply because Sean Murray doesn't want all the info coming out until the game is closer to launch which if I had to guess will be Summer 2015.

From what I have read, the main objective is to get to the center of the universe but no one knows what happens when you get there and I hope they keep that to themselves as I would much rather find out when I play the game.

Reading all of that info a few posts above gives a lot of detailed info that wasn't previously known. No Man's Sky seems to be mainly about exploration and making decisions that will affect your exploration.

I for one am hyped for NMS simply because it looks and sounds like it's going to be something unique and original as opposed to the basic generic stuff. I also like the idea that you have no idea if you're playing as a human, alien or other.

Once the game gets closer to launch, im sure they will release more info and details but at the same time, I would much rather play the game and experience everything while playing as opposed to already knowing.

For me, I just want the basic info and a solid length gameplay video or two so I can get an idea of what I'll be doing in the game. So many games release so much info that you already know or can figure out what's going to happen before it happens. Sean Murray keeping everything to himself actually makes me more hyped for the game because I don't know what to fully expect.

With other games like The Order, Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Bloodborne and others as well as games already released, I already know what to expect in regards to how the game is going to play and what it's about. You know the majority of those games already especially when one is a team based shooter, two of them are sequels and the other is from those who made Demon's Souls and Dark Souls I and II.

May sound confusing or not make much sense but do you understand what im talking about? So few games nowadays let you be surprised and go, holy crap, I didn't expect that. In a way, you could say it's all generic because after so many years and decades, you know what to expect already.

No Man's Sky is thus far the opposite of that and im hoping it stays that way. All I really want is a good 15 minute gameplay demo to get an idea of what I'll be doing but at the same time, I don't want them to give out every little tidbit and detail.
