About to replay this, again as soon as I finish Horizon: Forbidden West. It'll be a fun game to play until The Witcher 3 upgrade comes out. I can already hear the music. Far Cry 4 has one of my favorite soundtracks.

LOL I just re downloaded this one yesterday. It is the only one I never finished and figured I would play it instead of buying the new one.

Yeah, it was on sale for like 6 bucks on PSN, so I went ahead and grabbed it. I have the disc version, but wanted the digital one, too. I haven't bought the new one, either. Maybe one day. I just didn't like 5, so I've always been on the fence about 6.

I enjoyed 5. Which funny enough is why I am not getting 6. To me, just my opinion to clarify not hating on it, everything I have seen has left me with the been there done that vibe. Honestly that is happening a lot lately with UBI games and others. I love RPG's and adventure games. But it seems like they are all going to the UBI template? So I have been tempted by Elden Ring and more CRPG's lately. Have bought them all over the last year on various sales. Have not spent more than a new game and picked up like 5 of the most popular.

The "been there, done that" vibe is what brings me back to Ubisoft games. To me, they're good enough as they are that I don't want them going out and changing. But I get why people don't want to play the same thing over and over again with just a different story.

I enjoyed both Origins and Odyssey. Valhalla was just a bloated boring mess. I spent way too much time with it before bailing and I doubt I will ever go back. That is one franchise that is most likely dead for me. Just no interest in the direction they are going. But I don't consider them RPG's. To me they are Action Adventure Games. Thats just me being an old school nit picker but it is what it is.

But I derailed a Far Cry thread, sorry about that. Far Cry 5 has been my favorite so far. I enjoyed the characters and story. Seed may be my favorite "villian" ever.

I enjoyed the heck out of Far Cry 3, 4, 5, and New Dawn (never played Primal). I appreciated the familiarity of the games and the additions, such as access to aircraft and the animal buddies. I say all of this but have false started twice with FC6 because of patronizing familiarity, or whatever I am getting from the game.

The reason I didn't like 5 is the hallucination stuff and the "cull the herd" missions. It felt dumb and forced. It's like, you're killing all of his guys and instead of killing you BACK, he just drugs you, kidnaps you and let's you escape... to kill more of his guys. The only part of 4 I couldn't stand was, you guessed it, the hallucination stuff. Lol!

You can't go wrong with having FC4. It's in my top 5 or 6 games of all time. Got an alert on my Playstation App that FC3 was on sale for under $10 on PSN. Grabbing that one, too. You started this entire thread, so it's your own fault. Lmao!
