Strange sound in the sky

Can you hear/see the UFO crash? I was building at sanctuary and heard a jet stream over head and then a crash and Valentine said something like no way anything survived that but I was looking down so I didn't see it. Was that the UFO?

You will probably need to look at a guide to find it. There are no smoke trails or hints that i saw to find it.

Raider can't die in the armor else it ruins the frame. You can sneak up and pickpocket the core from the raider, or shoot the core and destroy it (costing you a core, but gaining a frame), both will cause the raider to exit the armor.

Tip: Critical hits are guaranteed hits, so as long as you have a critical charged you can use VATS to clear a core from a pretty far distance.

Uhmmm, how can one tell if a "critical is charged"?? Does it show on the screen somewhere? I'm a Fallout noob, so excuse my lack knowledge lol

Bottom of the screen when you are using Vats. If the bar is full you can press square/X to execute the critical.

This game is killing me. I have Black Ops III and Battlefront sitting on my hard drive unplayed and a really fun master league in Pro Evolution where I edited every player in the premier and championship leagues. Not to mention that my army in Metal Gear has been completely neglected.

I usually only get 1-2 hours to game at night after the wife and kid are in bed and since I always put my PS4 in rest from Fallout every time I turn the PS4 on Fallout pops up and I can't bring myself to close the app. I'm playing last night and start thinking it feels kind of late so I look up and it's 3 in the morning and I've been playing for 4 hours. So since Monday I've played 7-8 hours (0 Star Wars, 0 Black Ops, 100% Fallout) AND I HAVEN'T LEFT MY SETTLEMENTS. No XP or story progression but I have a sick bar and grill in sanctuary and a nice sniper tower at starlight.

I actually stumbled upon it after going to one of the settlements in the dark and seeing the fire in the distance. But after seeing it, it kind of clicked in my head that maybe that was what made the noise.

No just square on PS4 or X on Xbox. You go into VATS. Target an area like you normally would. Then instead of pressing the accept button like usual you just press the critical button.

Anyone who pre ordered off the Xbox store receive the code for Fallout 3 yet?

It says in the description you should have received the code 7-10 days and I have not received anything

I'm not in desperate need of it but I was curious if anybody else had

I got the disc so I don't know, but maybe if you go to My Games & Apps Fallout 3 might just be under the Ready to Install section.

Could someone please explain what the three symbols mean on the HUD when viewing apparel/armor? I know they are related to the level of protection it provides. The one I'm not sure about is the lightning bolt. The others are for damage protection and radiation, that much I have picked up on.

Ballistic is shield, lightning bolt is energy, other one is radiation.
