Time to step up to the X-Box plate?

I have been a happy PS2 owner since it first came out. Sports games are my thing. Now, it seems like my PS2 just cant "handle" games like the competition. I've noted people saying that MVP looks soooo much beter on an X-Box. I have a Big Screen, and I bet it would look pretty sharp.

My friend wants a PS2 badly. He hasn't had a console since the original Nintendo. Should I sell him mine and get an X-Box?

Are there any PS2 only games that I should consider?

I also hear rumors that EA Sports will support X-Box Live now that Microsoft isn't making their sports lineup anymore. Anyone feel the same?

There's a great deal on XBOX w/ Halo over at EBgames.
Limited Edition "Halo" XBOX, comes with Halo and Controller S for $169.99.
I sold my PS2 to one of my friends over Christmas break and got an XBOX and I couldn't be happier. The only time I miss my PS2 is when I'm reminded about GTA: San Andreas or other PS2 only games...

There was a good reason for you to buy your ps2,and what ever it was don't let the X-Box come inbetween your first choice.Take advantage of the 30 dollar price break for the X-Box(149 dollars now with 2 games)but you will have to make the choice....

I have both systems, and like having both. However, I do play the Xbox more, I like Xbox Live a whole lot more than PS2 online. If I had to choose just one system, it'd be the Xbox, but again I have the PS2 for some games...if you can afford it I'd just have both
