It was like that in the comic version of this story as well

He's been known to snope around without the Batsuit on. Hell, even Batman Begins and The Dark Knight had Bruce Wayne doing detective work during the day. Going into Wayne Corp to meet up with Fox about new tech and trying it out would be a nice ripple to the gadget progression. Researching crime scenes and suspects at the Batcave would add a layer to the detective mechanic. Acquiring combat/predator techniques via training sessions at the Batcave would even be welcome to me.

AK features Stagg Enterprises. Having Bruce Wayne gain intel via WayneCorp would be pretty neat to me.

Small doses of it would be fine, as would cutscenes with Bruce Wayne. The majority of people (myself included) are interested in maximizing the time spent as the Batman.

I think a 75/25 split would be adequate. Just something to include the rest of the character.

It would have to be a different kind of game in my mind because I'm picturing a GTA style flowing day night cycle, and I think that would be weird because at some point every day you'd have to go home and change clothes. I could see a game with levels, where after you do a Batman mission, the next one is you waking up to a cell phone call from Lucius to come to Wayne tower or something, I just can't see it as a free flowing game.

Side note, I marked hard for being Bruce Wayne for all of 10 minutes at the beginning of City, seriously my favorite part. But even then, just gotta hold out until you get the batsuit, then you can really do what you want.

I actually didn't play Dying Light, but the system there (or what I understand of how I've heard it) could maybe work. Where at a certain part of the day, an announcement goes out that it's curfew time and all the civillians go inside and the criminals come out, and you get the suit dropped wherever you are. I still think statistics would show the devs that 90% of people just sleep all day to get to night though lol

I think the time can still be static. Once you're done with whatever just hit whatever trip you need to to advance the time for the next stage. I think it would give some urgency to some cases and encounters. Playing out The Joker's murder spree from the early days would be pretty epic in this fashion.

Is that with or without Super fast tanks that can hit corners with fast & furious drifts., shoot missles and call for backup all at the same time?

This does not feel like a Batman game to me. It feels like a mini tank game with some Batman elements kind of pasted on top. I have always been a big Batman fan and in my opinion they have just gotten too far away from the core of what Batman is.

I am glad some of you guys are enjoying it. But its going on the shelf for me, I will probably finish it some day, since I made the mistake of buying it digitally but that is a mistake I will not make with this franchise or developer again.
Yeah man, this was my exact take-away, except you said it much better than I did.

Batman AK is a perfectly acceptable and good looking game. It's just isn't worth playing (for me) because most of the content is filler, repetitive, or tank based.

60% thru and I had to say enough was enough. Maybe someday I'll complete it but there's just simply better games out there.

One of the Riddler trophies is bugged for me. I picked it up, but it still shows up on the map. Literally one of the last five I have left. Annoying.

Finished the main story & pretty much everything else but the Riddler stuff but I'm going to pass on that. Over 200 of them? Meh I have other games to play.

Overall it was a great game, only thing that was difficult to me were the Riddler races but other than that it was a good run.

Cant believe it was Superman under the Arkham Knight mask.............

Does it still count against you or just shows up on the map?

Both. I have one left. One shows up on the map, but nothing is there.

Beat the game yesterday and left kinda disappointed......the boss battles where really lacking compared to past batman games.

I dunno...for a final batman game I guess I was expecting more...I was expecting a whole bunch of villains to make a showing.
