Did they say they will be charging for the challenge maps?

Never thought I would see a game I thought was really good get so much hate.

Kotaku posted an article that described my feelings to a T. For every positive the game has it also has a negative waiting in the wings.

They didn't but it's a part of the season pass and that isn't free so I'm sure the maps will have SOME kind of fee.

While we can only hope that we end up getting some free ones too to kind of make up for it. I mean all of the games had Challenge maps for free and some DLC ones to. I am not sure how many challenge maps we had in each game and how many we got in DLC would have to go back and look.

Seriously whoever thought the cloudburst tank mission was a good idea needs to be fired. Just completed it on New Game+ and wow thank goodness for checkpoints.

I do wish we had the save feature found in PC games. It would have been great to be able to save after destroying a tank.

In saying all that even a save feature like that wouldn't negate the stupidity of that mission. It's just not fun at all and that's a huge part of why I play games period. If it ain't fun I don't wanna play.

It doesn't ruin AK for me but playing through it again just solidified my hate of it.

I'm curious, how do you guys play the missions?

Do you guys try and finish the side missions first, except for finding all the Riddler's trophies, before completing the main mission?

I try and do the side stuff but love the main story so much that it's all I want to do.

I feel ur pain bro nothing in this awesome game angered me more then this mission it & the other arkham knight tank one are the 2 I hate

It's why I won't replay the story again that mission ruined the replay ability for me.

I'm hoping I'll be able to unlock all the upgrades in the current story I've completed now I'm just finishing up side missions

I've never been a fan of new game plus so I'm hoping I don't have to go there to get remaining upgrades

That said If I have to hopefully I won't have to go far to get me done so I can delete the file & still carry over the saves

Anyway I know the feeling the cloudburst tank mission is the worst mission in the history of the series rocksteady got a little to cute on that one hopefully they turn down the difficulty via a patch. Thx

I would do a couple main story missions and sprinkle in a side quest, rinse and repeat. Once I got toward the end of the main quest I started knocking out all the side stuff I hadn't done with the exception of the Riddler stuff which I waited till after the main story to finish.

I just started collecting trophies and such last night and it doesn't seem as tedious as I thought it would be.

I had it on easy & trust me it was still a pain it's like the Difficulty never reflected it because I went Tru it bout 25 times b4 barley beating it with 1 health bar left


So playing it on easy or hard makes no difference it's a sorry worthless mission that I'm hoping it's a bug & will be patched if so then I'll reconsider playing it But if that was done on purpose then Shame on the Devs

But trying to beat it on easy felt like it was on very hard difficulty.. so just thought I'd share this good day..

I finally beat the cloudburst tank battle. I must say that it was one of the worst boss battles I have ever faced. Usually boss battles are engaging but this was just an unnecessary drawn out grind. Overall I am enjoying the game but I must admit some portions of the game are flat out annoying.

Agreed. That mission almost had me snapping my controller in half Annoying but gratifying when I beat it.
