Don't know. It's a Dell Dimension 4300, which I purchased in the fall of 2001.

Did you upgrade the graphics card when you purchased it? If not then it's likely that your video card isn't "powerful" enough for the game.

Video card is a big issue with games.

My wife runs it fine on an Athlon 1000 with 512MB RAM and a GeForce3 Ti500, which isn't exactly a powerful PC in today's market.

It won't run it at all, Clay?

The thing is, I've heard there are known issues with ATI cards. I run it on an ATI and it's fine, but from what I've seen on the boards, some ATI cards have issues with it. Yours is just a texturing problem, so I'm sure an update from the developers will fix that. What Catalysts did you end up installing? There's a lot of things that can cause "black textures". Your card will probably run it, we just have to find out what's causing the texturing problems.
