Look at the pics again, especially the 2nd one with the dude kneeling down in front of the '64. His clothes look fairly current to me, no older than early to mid-90's for sure.

I wonder if the city of San Andreas is going to end up being a Los Angeles/SF hybrid, or only LA. I hope it has some San Francisco to it as the landscape would add some spice (all the steep hills, Lombard St., etc.) instead of it just being mostly flat terrain like Vice City was.

The pics definitely look impressive, though. They definitely got the "South Central" vibe working.

My guess would be that it will end up being a hybrid of the two cities. That is how it was in the original GTA, and it terms of city design, the current generations GTA's have stayed pretty true to their roots.

Based from this preview, the game will be in modern times.

They've made great improvements on the graphics, especially when it's still early and on a PS2. Not sure which to get it for though, PS2 or PC (if the pc version comes out)?
