I can't imagine the flack that the media and politicians are gonna heap onto this game as more and more is revealed. It seems like this may be the "riskiest" yet with gang mentality and the whole street gangs and drive by atmosphere. I don't think this one is gonna be as "cartoony" as the previous two GTAs.

If by cartoony you mean character wise then I agree with you. Street gangs is a very touchy subject and Rockstar is pushing the envelope with this game.

Yeah that is more or less what I was saying. I'll even go as far as to say that if black gang members are the main characters, then it will draw even more controversy based on that alone.

I have a feeling the main character is black. good thing its the fourth game and not the first to have a black character or else they couldnt make the argument that the past three ones were white.

We should be thankful that Rockstar Games hasn't bowed to pressure. Almost any other developer would've gone the safe route after all the flack that GTA:VC got.

I for one am happy to see more mature storylines and settings/situations. Sure the parents and politicians are gonna cry and moan but so be it. If they don't want their kids playing the game then DON'T BUY IT!
