I think the campaign is pretty sweet. I'm still working my way through it, but it's holding my interest and it looks beautiful.

I haven't played this but I feel like Call of Duty always has a solid campaign mode, especially compared to other fps games tailored for online play.

Is the single player campaign good enough to warrant a purchase? I have no interest in MP

I think it's the best COD campaign since the original Modern Warfare. Good story that isn't too cluttered and busy to keep track of. I really like Kevin Spacey's character.

I didn't get a Gold subscription until two days ago and haven't been able to get on the AW servers to even try MP. Pretty frustrating, and a good reminder to me of why I prefer offline single player games to begin with.

Although I've never been that great at COD online but I do enjoy the game. I've got all of the COD games starting with COD2. I have to agree with you, I find AW to be a horrible game. The Exo suit jumping has completely ruined the game. The spawning is some of the worst in COD history as well.

Just interested but without the exo suit how would this be any different to any other COD? I don't have the game as find the online formula done and dusted but what can be done to revamp online action shooters like COD? It is what it is and it sells. Other than maps what has really changed over the last few years?

From what my brother told me the exo suit is a big change in the way the game is played. He's a COD MP die hard and he says it's quite a bit different. I'm sure i'll still suck at MP once I finally do manage to get on the AW servers.

Picked this up yesterday since it was reduced to 40 and I had gift cards and coupons to GameStop. Can't really say I'm that impressed. Maps don't seem great and while the exo thing is cool it doesn't feel right in cod. Would much rather not have people flying in the air after I put one bullet into them. Just feels out of place in cod and makes it play like Titanfall. Probably won't get into this like I was with mw3 and bop2.

If you choose classic, it will be regular play. No exo suits.

I just can't be average in this game. I picked it back up after returning it without opening it a few months ago.


I either do really good or really bad.

Is there lag compensation in this? I'm constantly firing bullets that don't show up in kill cams. It seems worse than any cod I've played.

Do you want a fancy new symbol and an extra create a class slot?
There's your Pros. Not many Cons as you can keep one perk/weapon per prestige permanently.

There is lag-comp,as in all console CoDs since MW1. The game uses a hybrid of dedicated servers and P2P. Do you consistently have 4 bars?
Remember,the kill cam is just an approximation of actual events.

Yeah I always have full bars. I realize it's in every cod just seems awful in this one. Not sure what the deal is. I hardwire my console into my router. I hate that these games out me at a disadvantage because of that.

The spawns in this COD are worse then any other COD I've ever played.

I get shot in the back in this cod more than any other i have played. Between that, the lag issue, and getting shot from rooftops shortly after I spawn it's an extremely frustrating game to play. Really hope the exo stuff is gone in the next cod. Only way I purchase it.
