I don't "need" 1 either. My servers/spare systems have a sony 17 inch and I have a 19 inch Viewsonic. However, it would be nice to have 2 monitors hooked up to my work/play system.

I want a LCD too - but one that will do 1600x1200 will cost 700+ bucks

exactly...i'd have to get a 2nd video card to do dual monitor, i'll have to think about that
