So I played for a good two hours or so last night and holy smokes. SO let me preface this by saying I've never played a BF game before.

I like the whole cops and robbers aspect. With the war theme being played out, this is a nice change from that. I've only played Heist, which has two blown up armored trucks with cash inside of it. The criminals objective is to take the cash to two different spots (A and B) and drop them off. The cops objective is to stop them.

I've enjoyed it, found it insanely chaotic at times and frustrating to spawn and immediately die because I spawn in front of someone.

I've been using the mechanic class mostly to repair vehicles when safe.

And for you BF Vets who are saying the game feels like DLC and something is off, you know you will buy it.

We were in party chat yesterday playing it and that question came up more than once (about buying it).

Most did say they were still going to buy it once it releases.

You just hold down r1 and select which perk you'd like to have

No you have to have played the original Battlefield. Bad Company won't cut it.

For the guys saying it feels like DLC, isn't the Beta just the online portion?

Of course it's going to feel like DLC if you are missing over half of the games content, no? Hell, I'm more excited for the campaign than anything. I think there is a lot of potential there to do something really cool, and something that can be expanded upon with however many seasons of DLC they want to release.

I really don't see the campaign doing anything more than the other BF campaigns. Its going to be a linear, cinematic driven story campaign. I don't think we'll be given free reign over investigations or have to hunt clues and interrogate witnesses/suspects.

The concept is great and refreshing change of pace, but even from the gameplay videos it looks like it was originally intended to be an expansion rather than a stand-alone title.

It's a Battlefield game. Most people don't even touch the campaign anyway

The online game mode is pretty fun, but it's so CoD-ish and dumbed down (synonym?).

In the one game mode (I think Blood Money), it's literally just "take money, take it back to your base"

There are like three total weapons for each class, and not too many gadgets from what I've seen. It just seems like this game is being pushed to casuals, which is fine, but isn't what makes Battlefield games so great
