I must be getting tired of battlefield or something. Battlefield 4 tired out quickly for me and now I can't even get into hardline.

I do love that there is minimal loading in between rounds. It starts up within seconds.

Looks fun to me, just not $60 fun when I already have BF4 and they're so similar. Maybe I'm the minority but I've been hoping for awhile now that Battlefield revisits the WWII genre with all the updated technology.

That being said, Hardline looks like a good game for what it is - it's just not what I want in a Battlefield game.

I didn't really get into the first beta but I am enjoying this one. I like the pace & movement of the character makes it more fun moving around less sluggish. Hit detection has been great for me, love that you can go up to medics & support to refill if need be. I played 64 player conquest & the framerate was solid hope it stays that way. Hotwire is a nice change of pace even though I'm not a great shot when shooting from vehicles.

That being said, Hardline looks like a good game for what it is - it's just not what I want in a Battlefield game.

Man I pine for a WWII game on current gen like no other.

Waiting for the kids to get to bed so I can give the beta a solid go. My expectations are tempered having played the first beta and listening to IGN say "everything is faster"....aka more along the lines of COD (I said that, not them).

However we've known battlefield hasn't been the same since BC2 and has been progressing in this direction. Thing is, fun is fun. We'll see where Hardline stands. If I can get on with buddy's and enjoy the game modes I'll be picking it up.

I captured some of the highlights from the limited time I had with the game tonight. Overall I'm liking the game; runs smooth as butter and the shooting mechanics are solid. Some things can definitely be tweaked however, but overall the game's foundation is pretty solid.

It can be a blast with fun teammates...this beta for me has that fun factor I like.

I hardly played any BF before BF4, so I'm not at all tired of the series. Been playing BF4 a lot for the past few weeks, and the more I see from hardline the more excited I am about it. About to try out the beta in a few minutes!

Would love to try this out. It's been installing for almost 6 hours and only to 59%. Getting frustrated.

Got home from work about an hour ago. It was installing at 42%. Now it's at 43%. I'll be lucky to play by Thursday.

Try pausing then unpausing the download. See what that does.

It's finished downloading, just installing now. I can open the Hardline beta application but it says it's installing when I get to the main menu. At 48% now about 3 hours later. I usually wouldn't be upset at this kind of thing but it's only a 5 day beta!

Ok yeah it's the second install at the main menu of the game. Not sure what you can do maybe quit then go back in again.

Waaaaay too fast moving it's faster than many cod games. Also too floaty and shooting doesn't feel solid , somewhat disconnected. Fun to be had but it's not for me due to the crackhead pace... Bf4 was great for movement speed this is not

I was playing BF4 for a little while which may have slowed it down? Anyway, it seems to be moving a bit faster now and it'll probably be done around noon or so so that's good
