I don't feel that it feels like an add on at all because it plays so different from previous BF's.

I did wish the price was lower from the get go however.

Still haven't bought premium like I did with 4. I may wait a bit more on that, or maybe just buy the DLC's individually based on community feedback.

Had a feeling K10 was going to get hit by the nerf stick.

I think I've settled on Hotwire being my favorite mode. I really like Blood Money as well, but I think Hotwire encompasses all the dumb BF elements that are so delightful while still feeling like something different and exciting. It's also a mode where the tide can change so fast because the car swapping can happen in a hurry.

I'll probably post a couple quick clips tonight from that mode just for kicks.

(Also, it's just amazing if you get in the back of a van with breaching charges. You just sit in the back and toss them out as people try to ride up behind you, and then just enjoy the fireworks. It's next level if you throw a frag grenade out and time it so the next car drives over it as well.)

I think there's an argument that could be made that it feels like going from Bad Company to the Battlefield: Vietnam expansion (an awesome add-on and not trying to throw shade), but overall I tend to agree it feels different enough. Removing most heavy artillery alone, and pulling back on the amount of weapons changes a lot.

If you're just playing Conquest a lot I can see how it feels same-y, but there's another going on elsewhere to make it stand out.

I gotta say that I enjoy the game, but I'm not sure of the shelf life. I feel like they will keep adding more weapons for premium only which is too bad. The game itself is just a little too twitchy for my liking. It has some really fun moments but I just can't adapt to the combat. It feels just enough like Black Ops 2 to me that it gives me issues. I just can't seem to string many good games together on it.

I like the game, but it's my least favorite Battlefield of all of them for sure.

I like the game, but I agree with a lot being said. Content feels a little short. Not a fan of Hotwire at all.

I haven't picked up premium yet and probably won't until it goes on sale.

I like the game but I feel they tried too hard to mimic the Battlefield model. The different classes which make sense in a war type of setting, don't really fit in this game. I would prefer if they skipped the classes and just did a skill tree set up to develop your character with different loadouts and abilities.

I love playing this game right now (Heist and some CQ mostly). I love how smooth the game plays and I'm pretty good at not spawning into trouble every time and dying.

I don't feel like it's a BF4 DLC, but I am worried that the lack of weapons will keep me from playing it after a month or two. I kept playing BF4 because it was really fun going through the class progressions. I never even got all the way through the Support class on that game. But for Hardline, I'm really close to getting the ARM for Operators, and then the only other thing I care about doing is getting the .300 Knockout (which will take a lot of time).

I think the game plays better than Cod, but it'll be just as annoying as Cod is when I'm used to seeing everyone get kills with the same guns every game... and using those same guns myself because there are no other options.

I have to say if BB didn't mess up and refund my purchase in error I'd probably be a little upset. But like a previous poster said - this feels like it's to BF4 what Vietnam was to Bad Company 2.

I'd be curious to see how many people bought premium compared to BF3 & BF4. I get the feeling a lot of people like me are taking a wait and see approach.

On BF3 and BF4 I bought premium immediately. I already know this will not have the same holding power for me as the other two, so I skipped it for this one. Depending on the map packs they offer I would be lucky if I downloaded 1 DLC at the most.
