So I'm a Mileena main & now I'm trying to figure out how to get big damage after this patch? Also I'm expecting Rain, Smoke, Baraka & Fujin in the DLC.

Sidenote: I've started using Takeda, Scorpion & Cassie.

I have a couple 30+% combos with Takeda but he requires meter & the setups must be perfect but he's fun to use. Lots of different ways to branch into combos which I like but if you're not smart you'll waste meter & if you get caught you're gonna eat a combo lunch lol.

Everybody knows Scorpion. I just like him cuz his combos look cool & hellfire has unblockable damage lol. Comes in handy against Erron Black & other mix up characters.

Cassie is fun & I've actually landed some decent run combos but I'm still working on timing. Practice is easy to land combos but when you go online the lag throws timing off so it's hard but I'm gonna keep practicing. I just like her mix ups. I use brawler cuz I like the rushdown but obviously hollywood is the most balanced.

What variation do you use? I use Piercing and Ravenous. Everything is pretty much the same except for 344 and 343.

For 343 we can't cancel immediately into our combos but you can delay the ball roll and combo.

We can also use 4u3 1+2 as an ender now. Best to use that with Ethereal in my opinion since it doesn't have many ending options.

The announcement was that KP2 will be released first half on next year. Boon trolled us for a few days and then WB announced it today.

Thanks didn't know that. I wish they would have sped up the frames tho.
But I figured out some different ways to combo & get bigger damage.

She's still good to use but I really don't understand the nerf to her.

Scorpion can pull off some already insane combos & they made his low minion faster lol. It's crazy. And Sub Zero after patch can literally do the same combo over & over.

I just purchased Predator tho. This character is a beast. Especially hunter with the trap resets.

HQT Predator - smart discs and pewpewpew is the best zoning in the game.

OAN, I just bought an ASUS 228h monitor and it makes gaming so much better. MKX deserves to be played on a gaming monitor - game reacts so much better.

Are you serious? That doesn't make any sense considering it already tracks you extremely well(you'll literally be in front of it as it's coming out and it'll teleport and grab you still)

I haven't had a chance to play this after the patch yet, all my time has been in MGSV. I'll have to start practicing again.

Just got back from my first regional major, Absolute Battle 6. Very fun experience. So fun, I don't think I'm going back to sports games unless its in a tournament setting lol.

I lost to CD Jr (a MK pro player) and to one of the top guys from Austin, TX (who I've lost to many times at our local). A little salty that I had to play a guy I can play every week but regardless I learned a lot from the experience. I won't be going to SCR but we do have another Texas tournament next month we're prepping for.

Anyone ever been to a MK tournament? Your experience?

I'm thinking of picking this up now that it's been out a while and the price has dropped. It's crazy to me this game is more expensive than NBA2K16 which just launched recently (currently $48+ at Wal-Mart).

The reviews I read on it are all pretty good...is it good? Hopefully there's a lot of replay value in it.
