So I picked this up yesterday and wow. I haven't played a mortal Kombat game in about 7 years and boy do my fingers feel slow. Transitioning from EA UFC is definitely a challenge.

After a couple practice sessions with Subzero(grandmaster) I was able to beat a Klasic tower on medium 0 losses. Feeling pretty good about myself I tried online unranked. The slight timing difference I noticed immediately and the fact I didn't belong here yet was evidedent in the monumental beatings I took for the rest of the night. Lol

Back to the drawing board I go.

I next mission is to learn Takeda.

I don't think so. AFAIK ranked matches are completely random.

I just meant I would be online tonight getting my *** kicked so I will be on if anybody wants to do KOTH or room.

This is so true. A lot of my recent losses in ranked matches was due to getting opponents having pings with red bars. I have 3 different cryomancer subzero combos that I can execute to near perfection offline for 11-13 hits and 27-33% damage.

Online my success rate is like 50/50. I feel I basically have to scout opponents with good pings now and play predominantly unranked player matches to get the results I am looking for.
