Unless I screwed up my controls (good chance of it) but throw is L1 and stage interact is R1. Maybe Xbox is backwards?

I actually switched mine to mimic the MK9 controls.

I must say the story line for this game was pretty good and much better then I expected it to be for a fighting game. Haven't played a Mortal Kombat game since the 2nd or 3rd one. Very well done. Grant it I do find a few of these fighters way over powered and kind of cheap to use.

i just don't understand how these people get these combos off so fast online i can barely hit a punch and they are getting 14 hit combos like its nothing

After you practice it becomes real easy. You don't really think about it after a while.

I still can only do the basic combos lol

Probably has to do with I change characters to much. I was gonna use Goro all the time but I think I'm gonna try and get good with Sub-Zero

I always find that I try to force myself to enjoy new Mortal Kombat releases. With that said, same outcome gents lmao!!! I'm playing it begrudgingly, waiting for something new to come out so I can trade it in!

Damn, I already paid for the Jason/Predator characters and probably will not even get to see em. I'm going to play a few matches and try to find something redeemable about it here in a second, other than that, this boy is getting sacrificed to the game gods (gamestop) tomorrow lmao!!

I always find that I try to force myself to enjoy new Mortal Kombat releases. With that said, same outcome gents lmao!!! I'm playing it begrudgingly, waiting for something new to come out so I can trade it in!

On a separate note, in terms of multiplayer experiences too, I find online ranked/player matches in fighting games the most fun because you cannot rely on teammates like in an FPS to carry you.

Game hit me in the nostalgia feels when I first started playing until I finished the story. Now, I'm barely even playing it again. It's a good fighting game and probably my favorite in many years, but at the end of the day fighting games aren't that fun anymore without my friends to play with.

We play this at work on duty days sometimes and it's a blast.

Game hit me in the nostalgia feels when I first started playing until I finished the story. Now, I'm barely even playing it again. It's a good fighting game and probably my favorite in many years, but at the end of the day fighting games aren't that fun anymore without my friends to play with.

We play this at work on duty days sometimes and it's a blast.

For me, I know I wouldn't be enjoying it as much if I wasn't able to use my old fightstick (and I don't have any intention of buying a new one). The fact that I can really makes the game for me, plus as has been mentioned the game is pretty combo-friendly for online play - you don't know pain until you've tried to do Street Fighter combo strings on a high-latency connection .

Honestly, most of my time with the game has been simply playing the arcade ladder to unlock all the endings and and unlocking the alternate costumes.
