E3 Discussion Thread

Interested to check out the Destiny beta to decide if it's going to be worth the money.

No Man's Sky may be my game of E3 based off what we saw.

Ratchet and Clank remaster is cool. Do more things like that instead of remastering games we got literally last year. Well it may have been redone before, but you get my point.

Given my preferences disappointed there was no real good looking RPG announced, but guess it makes sense given pretty much none of those planned for PS4 have released yet.

Not a huge fan of Sony's conference, everyone was underwhelming. MGSV looks really good, No Man's Sky is my most wanted game, and Far Cry 4 looked like tons of fun.

I really enjoyed the MS portion. Really impressed with The Division and can't wait for that game. Forza Horizon 2 looks really good and I'm not an open world racing fan.

I couldn't play the original Halo, the older FPS's made me a little nautious, since they are all will be 60FPS now they shouldn't bother so will definitely be giving them a go.

Evolve and RB6 looked impressive as well.

Sony's conference sucked.

The good was the Little Big Planet demo/announcement. It was a refreshing change of pace (I'm looking at you EA, Ubi and MS) to see a game in action and not a trailer.

The bad was the fact they were the last impressive out of all the conferences save for EA.

There was really **** all for first party exclusive games shown, while MS did way better in that area.

MS had Phantom Dust, Fable (even though this one looks like **** yet again. Poor Fable.) Sunset Overdrive, Forza, Crackdown, Project Spark, Ori and the Blind Forest, Halo stuff and Scalebound.

Vita TV for the West and a date for PS Now is about as much as I needed from Sony. The Order is a Day One purchase for me. Little Big Planet makes me happy. Uncharted 4 looked ridiculous.

I finally get to play The Last of Us next month.

Rainbow Six Siege stole Hardline's thunder from me. Goodness.

FC4 better keep that November date. Playing with friends that don't own the game? Hell yes.

I need to pick up Entwined.

No Man's Sky looks beautiful and epic.

The Witcher 3's got me pumped like no other, though.

No Man's Sky may have taken the e3 cake for me. I really enjoyed it the trailer and the gameplay I saw on kotaku.

Destiny? Yes. I can't wait.

Arkham Knight got me hyped but then I remembered it is pushed out until 2015. Same with The Division.

I never played the Uncharted games outside of Uncharted Vita so I'll be looking forward to picking those up via PS Now.

Guess I'm showing my age, but MS just had nothing that appealed to me. Sony had more variety and with it being the better hardware at this point, will make me go all 3rd party to it now. Ubisoft killed it though as Siege and The Division are show stoppers, but even Far Cry 4 and AC Unity have me interested now. EA was hit and miss as NHL and FIFA will be solid, but will not fall for the Madden or Live traps anymore. Battlefront will be amazing in 2016 if then.

Overall good day for gamers in general. I went in with maybe 2 games to buy rest of this year, but now around 5-6. Good things to look forward to now and will be broke in 2015.

Game I'm most intrigued by from yesterday is Ori and the Blind Forest. I think this has potential to be a great platform game.

How I'd rank some of the things we saw:

1. Master Chief Collection
2. No Man's Sky
3. Rainbow Six
4. Zelda U
5. Far Cry 4
6. Uncharted 4
7. Battlefield: Hardline
8. Bloodborne
9. Dragon Age: Inquisition
10. Arkham Knight

When I consider the fact that I left out a really great looking Witcher 3 game, I'd say it was a pretty good first day of E3.
