Sony's conference sucked.

The good was the Little Big Planet demo/announcement. It was a refreshing change of pace (I'm looking at you EA, Ubi and MS) to see a game in action and not a trailer.

The bad was the fact they were the last impressive out of all the conferences save for EA.

There was really **** all for first party exclusive games shown, while MS did way better in that area.

MS had Phantom Dust, Fable (even though this one looks like **** yet again. Poor Fable.) Sunset Overdrive, Forza, Crackdown, Project Spark, Ori and the Blind Forest, Halo stuff and Scalebound.

Huh? The Order 1866, Entwined, Infamous First Light, LBP3, Bloodborne, Grim Fandango (maybe), Let It Die, Abzu, The Last of Us remastered, Uncharted 4

I'd also like to point out these are all games for the 2014/15 window, none of this "someday in the distant future" stuff.

I'd also like to point out these are all games for the 2014/15 window, none of this "someday in the distant future" stuff.

• The Order - nothing new, we've seen it. Glad they led off with this instead of saving it like it was something big. Looks pretty, looks atmospheric, looks boring.
• Entwined - Good, won't get buzz solely because it's an indie. Intrigues me, and has looked real solid from what I've seen/heard.
• LBP3 - Good, sequel.
• Bloodborne - Biggest one for them, still crap for a presser since we saw gameplay footage leaked.
• Grim Fandango - PC also, I believe
• Let It Die - Interests me, but Suda51 is admittedly niche. No complaints. "Some time in 2015." If then.
• Abzu - 2016 launch.
• Last of Us - Woo, a game remade that's under a year old.
• Uncharted - Nerf Gun Simulator 4: Next-Gen. A sequel. 2015 release date at best.

Sony's press conference really left nothing to get excited about.

They gave potential windows. I'm pretty sure the Division was originally 2014 as well at one point. Nothing concrete aside from remasters and a surprise indie launch.

They showed 4 player online co-op campaign on the stream today, so at least that is in with SP.

The game did look very good and further along than I expected.

You can't say they didn't show any exclusive games just because you choose to ignore them.

I didn't choose to ignore anything.

MS showed more first-party exclusive, and newly announced, games than Sony did.

MS should not be outdoing Sony on that front, point blank. Sony's presser was very underwhelming, when taken as a whole.

this will bother me if it has no real multiplayer. The first one had enjoyable multiplayer!

I gave you a list as long as the list you gave, but you decided to downplay those games. Whatever. You aren't in vast company with your opinion, most people are saying Sony did better.

I'm all about Sony as that's the system I own and probably the only one I will, but Sony's was underwhelming for certain.

I guess it's all down to preferences tho. As I think things like Metal gear, Uncharted, and Assassin's creed are the most boring games out there.

My takeaway from E3 is Microsoft showed some exclusives that are actually coming out this year, and Sony showed a bunch of exclusives that we'll be seeing at next years E3.

Anyone check out the new Monster Hunter trailer? I've never played the games(have heard tons about them) but 4 seems like a decent starting point.

Nintendo has had by far the most engaging E3, thanks to Treehouse Live. You have people who are genuinely excited to be showing games and very knowledgeable of them because they work on them every day. It doesn't come off as scripted or PR laser-focused in comparison to other streams. They have been doing deep dives in showing off the games and for the vast majority of their lineup, it's real gameplay being shown - not CGI, in-engine, or some polished conceptualized video of what we hope to deliver.

Yep. They're presser was very good-to-great, but their 'treehouse' stuff is really something else.

They did e3 right, even without a live press conference.

Glad I went for XB1 first. I'm looking forward to playing Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive 3 and Master Chief Collection this fall.
I was planning on getting a PS4 for the holidays, but now decided I can hold off another year.
