Re: E3 Discussion Thread
Pretty decent show from Microsoft. Much better than last years showing.
Halo Package Deal was something that really struck me as an outstanding value.
I was expecting Gears of War reveal though.Comment

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
One thing I like so far is that games seem to have found the color palette without just brown and dingy green again. Sunset Overdrive and The Witcher 3 looked very bright and vibrant.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Sunset Overdrive looks fun. I would gladly trade Second Son to Xbox for that as an exclusive. Sold on The Witcher. Never played the previous tow, and not all that into dragons, but something about it intrigues me.
Not getting my hopes up for The Division after what happened with Watch Dogs. Love the game, it's just not what they showed us.Comment

Sleeping Dogs is probably the best open world game I can think of that actually has a balance between the size of the map, populated side activities/missions, and core gameplay that is tight and fun.
The Witcher is easily my most anticipated game. The second one was great and moving it to an open world is going to be crazy. The locales look amazing. Its nice to see some color be infused in these games after getting bombarded with grey, brown, black, and white.

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
Hey ya'll, trying to watch these in order without being spoiled by anything. Can someone possibly link me to archives of anything that has already been done conference-wise, or link me to a stream where I can rewind to the beginning of it?
If this is too hard, I'll just watch the live stuff. Re: E3 Discussion Thread
Wow, that was boring. EA and MS felt "safe" and most of the games EA showed were concepts.
Things I liked
- The amount of care DICE is giving to Battlefront is well deserved
- New Tomb Raider going back to its roots
- Some new info and screens on ME4 that looked like the exploring is back
- AC Unity looked amazing, especially the Co Op and time period
- The Witcher 3 looks amazing and a game I definitely want to play
Things I didn't like
- Madden Quicktime events - Focus on combat in Mirror's Edge 2
- COD looked horrible and lifelessComment
