What's your favorite shooter of all time?

I'm relatively new to this genre, but right now it's close between Halo, RTCW and Rainbow Six 3.

Well for sentimental reasons the original Doom will always be special. But if I played it now it would probably suck. Same thing with the first Quake. That was the first time I played deathmatch with my friends after football on Sundays. That was awesome. Now it's America's Army for the realism and teamwork needed to succeed.

Like was mentioned above, the original Doom was great at the time.

For the modern day consoles, I really Like Rainbow 6 for the Xbox and Halo is prety cool as mentioned above. I used to like Timesplitters II on PS2 a lot, but mainly because you could travel thru time and fight with different guns.

I used to play Doom over, and over. But my new favorite is Halo, and will probably continue with Halo 2 later this year..
