Maria (she's not hard, she's a hunter using the Rukoyo).

Then The Orphan Kos, who is the last boss in the hardest area and is very very difficult. Also has 2 mother brains near him, I hate those things.

In regards to weapons

There's 16 weapons, 13 of which are just laying around or off a boss/Hunter. One gun you buy at the well when you beat a hunter wearing beast claws.

Now for the 3 more difficult weapons that you could miss. One is Simeon's bowblade, you either have to complete his quest (just talking to him 4 times in different areas) or kill him early on. Two, the bloodletter. It's on Brador the Hunter. He's a pain, he shows up after you have completed Simeon's quest and get the key. Protip, try to finish the quest fast by skipping areas running because otherwise you fight Brador 4 times. If you get the key, you fight him once in the jail cell area, after you beat him, go talk to him (weird right). He's down the hallway ringing a bell to summon himself lol. Kill him and the Bloodletter is yours. Vicious weapon that causes frenzy on baddies when you use it. But it's risk/reward as you stab yourself with it.

Finally? Rukoyo is the hardest weapon to get. It's down the heavily guarded well at Fishing Hamlet. Two bosses are down there, you fight the hardest one first, when he's down to 1/4 health a second one spawns off his back. The second one has the weapon if you want to focus on him to just get it and get out of there. Trust me, it's hell on earth in that place.

IMO, have 15/16 weapons and all 4 bosses beat before taking on Kos. That way when you beat him, it finishes the DLC at 100%. Kos holds the last weapon in the game.

I did the opposite of your suggestion until I almost pulled my hair out with the second third boss you listed and went to fight the second and 4th on that list before now going back to your third

I'm a 99 and looks like I started a New Game + so I'll need to do all the things listed a few posts backs to access the DLC right?

I am stuck in an area that i do not need to be in to finish the dlc but need to so i can acquire a weapon for max finish of the trophies

I cannot beat that thing with the pick ax and his buddy the diver...Is harder then a boss fight with their power shots

All to just get a damm weapon

Yep. That's the Rukoyo weapon. Worst part of the DLC by far.

holy crap I just almost had a heart attack after jumping like a mad man for beating those 2 beast just to get that weapon....they are easily boss level hard and are not even bosses....

I have never been into role playing games or games like the souls series

This was my first one as I am just a sports and shooter fan most of my life with the rare action adventure game thrown in.

Bloodborne was my first shot and I gave up after the first few days as it was incredibly hard to just beat first boss. I put the game away and was ready to trade it in as it was one of the only games I got on disc and decided to try one more time a week later after hearing my boss talk about the game and how he loves it

I got a little more energized to at least try again and figured out that I could upgrade my stats with echoes which I had no idea before. LOL

I upgraded a bit before fighting the first boss and he beat me a few times but soon after I beat him and I never felt satisfaction in a game boss or game as I did just beating the cleric beast

From there on it was nirvana playing the game and it become a classic to me

So much that I am looking to buy Dark Souls 3 when it comes out now

Is a great game but just be patient with all the difficulty and deaths because regardless of how hard the game is and how much deaths you take from one boss, eventually you will get it and it will feel awesome...

That's how I feel most players started on any of the souls games, including myself. I think I made a post about it on either DS1 or DS2 thread.

Lots of people get the first hand experience on how difficult it feels and just entirely gives up on the game. It's always that second chance given, whether it's a week later or months where it just clicks. You figure out what to do and the satisfaction from that point on is immense.

I played Demon Souls first and loved it. When I bought Dark Souls 1 at launch, the whole interconnected world confused me. I went through multiple areas at first that felt entirely impossible and just gave up. I did not realize these areas were supposed to be late game. I never knew about the cliff path from the firelink shrine where you are supposed to go until a few months later. It didn't help that I started with the Master Key as a gift and that enabled me to unlock even more areas where I was not supposed to go. I was completely lost.

I'm glad I gave it another chance otherwise I would have never picked up Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne after initially hating Dark Souls 1

I stopped playing after I beat the Darkbeast Paarl. Loaded it back up this weekend and got pissed. It's a good game, I just have to be in the right mood to deal with that ****.

Bloodborne was my first Souls game. I never thought I'd like a game like this, but the setting of BB sucked me in more than the Souls games do, love the horror setting. I don't know why it clicked for me right away, but it did. Now over a 125 hours later, it's officially my favorite game of all-time, and that's not hyperbole. It's just that good of a game. I have every trophy and still playing it whenever I have a chance. I love the multiplayer function of it, the co-op community is fantastic and very willing to help.

Every trophy was such an accomplishment because the bosses were so difficult and when you beat them, each time I had a "YES" moment. No game has ever given that to me like Bloodborne has.

I'll look at Dark Souls 3, but as of now it's not high on my list, would prefer a sequel to Bloodborne as my next "Souls" game only again, because of the setting. Beasts and Hunters >> Knights and Demons.

Does this guy have a point or just being whiny?

I wish I wasn't thrown into a New Game + I'm sure my cloud save has been overwritten with that by now.

So I should have completed the Chalice Dungeons and never started a new game? Is it going to be a lot of work to complete the chalice dungeons and DLC now?
