played 5 matches... i think its fun for sure. its tight cqc and i think 3min matches with 5v5 MIGHT grow stale though...but maybe not. the gameplay itself is extremely tactical if you want it to be. chhanges i would like might be a tad more health only because everyone has a vest yet dies with what seemes like 2 shots (1 shotgun)..anyone know if there are specific damage zones to the body?

I already saw some high level guys, with crazy gadgets - I wonder if they will ship with a 'bare bones' mode - that would be good for variety some of the stuff I saw was kind of crazy.

I was honestly unsure before playing, but I think I'll be scooping it up after playing - but as I said I wonder how far the gameplay will carry it. It's like fighting in a shoe box which is cool .. the demo map isn't tiny, but I don't see any fire fights happening outside of the very small 'conflict zone' ... that's all I'm saying. I also don't know how much I like the beginning of mathes with the RC cars, it would be fun to just nix that on a different mode to avoid everyone being 'spotted'

I've been playing as well(Xbox1) and I have had a blast! Definitely a game you need to play with people who are going to communicate!

So, I have not been excited for this game at all, but after playing the technical test the last day or so it has actually been really fun.
Still don't think I would purchase at launch, but who knows maybe by then I will be starved for some new game.

doesn't look like it, but I can't get into a game, had same troubles last night. Reminds me of the only downside of r6vegas which was spending so much time in lobbies.

I've been farting around on garage band while waiting and I notice it's actually been 40 minutes without me getting into a match and I'm occasionally quiting our and starting again.

Too bad, because I was interested, but I would rather my limited gaming time be spent actually playing a game.

NOTE: This is a test phase so there will be down time/trouble connecting. That's the purpose of it. Go to the forums and report your issues. We are not just trying out a new game here, we are testing. The goal is to get some or all of these issues ironed out before the open beta.


Played a bunch more last night. While I like it, I really hope there are more game modes, especially a regular team death match mode. The attack and defend is nice but I liked the straight out TDM mode in past R6 games.

Not only that but to actually use the other 80% of the space in the maps...

I never was able to log into another game. Spent a few hours trying while doing other things, in total I got maybe 20min of action in probably 5 hours of trying to get in matches. If the beta is like that for a large portion of players it won't be good for ubi, if it remains like that for me I will pass entirely. I'm a bit worried about it actually.

I've signed up for this beta, I'm assuming we'll get another email soon? I got one a month or so ago telling us to hang tight or whatever.

I got the same e-mail on july 8 saying a key would be sent when the beta begins. Hopefully I get mine sometime today.

I'm in the same boat as you guys, still waiting for that email. Pretty impatient too as Rainbow Six games have always been my favorite non-sports game.
