    Re: Rainbow Six Siege

I am not a huge online gamer but with that said..
some of the most online fun was with OS'ers.

Loved playing "The Mole" game even though I was gunned down once from point blank range do to a misunderstanding.
My team thought I was the mole. After the match they realized I wasn't the mole and were like "what the hell?" then the laughing started..
    Great times.

This game looks awesome. Would be nice to get a good group together and play. Cause I could see this getting old with a bunch of random people.

Had this in the Ubisoft Thread but I think I will post it here also.

I remember playing that and GRAW with you guys. I always had the heavy armor and full helmet.

I can't wait to excessively plan assaults and defense with you guys. BF4 felt more like COD to me than BF3 and BC2.

Yea Vegas and Vegas 2 were the only ones in the franchise that I can remember that featured both 3rd and 1st person. The cover system was implemented which took you to a 3rd person perspective but the entire rest of the gameplay was 1st person.

Now going back to the OG like I started playing with the design your entire plan layout, those were pure 1st person.

This is where I finished on the Rainbow Six franchise until Vegas came out.

If anyone remembers the SWAT Series, SWAT 4 was another fantastic CQB police game.

Games are not made with that kind of realism much any more. Swat, Rainbow six, Ghost recon, Operation Flash point, Americas Army, Day of Defeat, Red Orchestra, and then lastly the series that I got huge into the online clan battle scene. The Delta Force series (Delta Force, Delta Force 2, Delta force Land warrior, and Delta force black hawk down, last one I played) for any of you real old school guys. One of the first 1st person shooters to implement bullet drop in the shooting genre!

Oh I remember Black Hawk Down when it came to PS2 (mainly a platform gamer with the exception of SWAT). I remember getting Black Hawk Down for my birthday and playing it while eating ice cream cake. Also I remember when they brought Flashpoint to console and I enjoyed that as well. But like you were saying, they are not made with realism like the old days (although Battlefield still holds onto some aspects of it such as bullet drops and what not).
