Explore and have fun! Just based on the posts here, there's many different ways to play the game. Use the slate to guide you and follow the first main objective. After that, really up to you and your play style where you go next.

This game is very addicting. Enjoy it and the Switch!

I just did that one this past week. That was fun.

So I beat the final boss today. I was happy that I wanted to keep playing afterwards and look for a few more shrines. After you beat the game you have a completion percentage on your map. I was expecting mine to be around 50%. LOL, nope it was at 29%. That's how much is in this game. I had done about 100 shrines. I imagine most of the missing percentages I have are all the seeds plus the Hyrule compendium. But also I bet I've only done maybe 40% of the side quest in the game as well. I just thought it was funny to only be 29% done after 105 hours.

Holy cow, that's nuts. 105 hrs at 29% ? Lol. I believe I could beat him at any time now, but I'm at the point that I don't want to lol. I could explore another 100 hrs before advancing I'm pretty sure.

I know! And I really didn't goof around. I felt life I was always doing something productive. I considered doing more task instead of beating the final boss, but then I remembered we're supposed to get add-on content later. So I'm still motivated to make my character better.

Yeah I am at only 23% after 95 hours and I have not messed around either. When I have been playing I have either been trying to do a side mission or trying to find a shrine or something.

I hate to beat a dead horse but this game is just amazing. Every Shrine for me has just been fun as hell to try and figure out. Then roaming in the open wild is another adventure in itself.

This game along with MK8 for the Switch are system sellers imo. Going on 2 golf trips this month and this system will be the first thing that I pack followed by my clubs being a close second.

Two months are fast approaching since the switch and Zelda came out and I still play Zelda as if its the first week it came out

They made a game that holds your interest and makes you care about it. It's item collecting, armor sets etc are all intricately woven to the world.

I'm collecting armor sets too. Actually it is more like upgrading armor sets as I have them all except the one you buy from
                      Spoiler

So I'm just going around the world finding the materials I need to upgrade them which is pretty fun because you end up in places you've never been before all the time. My stealth, climbing, champion's tunic, and ancient sets are all the way upgraded since I use them the most.

I finished the last of the shrines last night and got the reward. I liked that by chance my final shrine was a Major Test of Strength. It was fun to see how far I've come since the beginning as those shrines don't give me any issue at all anymore. I remember the first shrine like that killed me so many times. But having a fully upgraded Ancient armor set doesn't hurt either!

I stumbled on the major test of strength shrine last night. Was not prepared at all. It was brutal but I somehow pulled it off. No way I was leaving without getting that fast travel point.

Yeah those things are tough at first! You actually don't have to complete a shrine to gain the fast travel point. You just have to go into it and then leave. It'll show up as orange on your map indicating you haven't completed it, but you can still fast travel to it.

Haha. Had no idea. Like 90 shrines in and didn't notice that.

Just bought my first piece of ancient armor last night too.

It was one of those Major Test of Strength shrines that I learned it on. When I saw what shrine it was I was like, no thanks I'll come back later, then I saw I could fast travel to it.

More good news! First details I have seen for first BOTW! I thought we wouldn't get details in till E3 and the DLC sounds great!

                                http://zelda.com/breath-of-the-wild/...ck-1-detailed/

The map feature sounds very interesting to be able to know where you haven't went yet and what you have spent the most time in because with how big the game is it can be hard to really keep track of where you have or not been to yet. Hard mode sounds awesome! Enemy's and chest in the sky. Man Nintendo just when you think this game cant get better! Wow this is a lot more then I was expecting and its just pack 1. Makes me think the story DLC in pack 2 is going to be longer then people thought! Nintendo looks like they really know how to do DLC this is a great start and Mario kart 8 DLC was also really good!<!-- / message --><!-- added 1/18/11 -->
