    i remember super nintendo only had one controller.

        And IIRC not all super nintendos came with Super Mario World in the beginning.

                    The original Genesis console came with 2 controllers, however there was a redesigned Genesis console that came with no game and only 1 controller.

                                I have an origianlly designed Genesis that came with Sonic 1 and 1 controller. Funny thing was, before I got my second controller, I remember playing Bulls vs Lakers when I rented it, and I had my brother use one of our old Atari controllers. It actually was the same size and the 1 button just was the shoot and jump button. It was pretty funny.

                                    I have an origianlly designed Genesis that came with Sonic 1 and 1 controller. Funny thing was, before I got my second controller, I remember playing Bulls vs Lakers when I rented it, and I had my brother use one of our old Atari controllers. It actually was the same size and the 1 button just was the shoot and jump button. It was pretty funny.
