Re: What Are Your Gaming Plans For The Rest of the Year?

    For sure
    NBA 2K15
    Madden 15
    WWE 2K15
    Alien Isolation
    Assassins Creed Unity

    Maybe/Considering
    Sunset Overdrive
    Driveclub
    Forza Horizon 2
    Far Cry 4
    LOU Remastered
    NHL 15
    Halo MCC
    NBA Live 15

MGS Ground Zeroes and Tombraider Definitive Edition are 2 games ive yet to pick up but will do so just not sure when.

I see myself probably picking up 2 games from the maybe list this year and anything else on there that catches my eye after it releases would be purchases some time next year on price drops. Also wanna add im picking up the Glacier White PS4 Gold Headset as well.

It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

      For sure:

      Destiny
      Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition
      Far Cry 4
      Dragon Age Inquisition

      Possibly (Gamefly in all likelihood):

      WWE 2k15
      NBA 2k15
      Alien Isolation

Destiny will likely take up most of my time. Been having a blast despite the fact that the beta and alpha have been, by design, very repetitive and closed ended. I could wank around for hours in the Earth exploration missions with friends. The full game should open things up a LOT, and I LOVE loot driven games.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It's not a bad game at all IMO, just not my type of game. I didn't care much for Borderlands either, and that's the closest game I can compare it to.

And besides, with all of the other stuff on my list that I know I DO want to play, I'd never get around to playing it.

This. So many other games I know I'll be picking up that just would be a waste oft money.

            For me on ps4 it's:
            Primary game: Destiny/NBA 2k15
            Secondary game:destiny/NBA 2k15
Whatever I think is more fun.

            Alternate:uncharted 4

            Possible alts:
            Assassins creed unity
            Madden
Maybe a few more along the way so I'll just put TBA.

Not alot of definites from here on out.
                PS4
                NHL
                PC
                Dragon Age 3

Maybe on Shadow of Mordor on the PS4. Destiny would have been a buy but after playing both the alpha and beta and seeing the AI is still flat out garbage, not even interested in Halo repackaged as another game.

                    PS4 only here.

                    For Sure:
                    Far Cry 4
                    NBA 2K15
                    FIFA 15

                    Probably:
                    NHL 15
Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor - I really want a game like this to be good

                    Intrigued by:
                    Assassin's Creed Unity
                    The Golf Club
                    PES 2015
                    Drive Club

Doubtful, will probably rent from GameFly:

                    Madden
                    Metro Redux

Renting The Last of Us on GameFly, already beat it on PS3, just can't quite justify purchasing it again.

Excited for several games next year, especially the Witcher III.
                    NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
                    MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
                    NHL: St. Louis Blues
                    NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
                    EPL: Liverpool Reds

                      Madden 15
Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3) / Tales of Hearts R (Vita)
                      Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (not sure which platform, although Vita is enticing)
Golf Club (already own it on PC)
                      DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Vita)

                      Maybe:

Persona Q (this one's leaning heavily toward sure thing, just a question of whether I can stand the Etrian-style gameplay)

                      <s>Destiny</s>
                      Drive Club
NHL 15 (If EA somehow pulls a miracle and makes a hockey sim)
                      Smash Bros 3DS

Plus whatever I feel like playing from my massive backlog.

                      I'm assuming MGS5 won't make 2014, so I didn't include it. If it somehow does it's a must buy.

                        UPDATE:
Man, after watching the IGN gameplay video of Madden at E3 (Seahawks/Niners, an old video I believe) I am almost certainly buying Madden. It looks terrific. I am a very, very skeptical Madden customer. I usually pass on Madden games and always got NCAA. I rented PS4 Madden last year and honestly thought it was nothing special at all. I think Madden has been old and stale for 7-10 years now. But that gameplay video wowed me, from the graphical improvements to the fluidity of movement. I really liked what I saw and that was an older video, I do believe.

There are still some things that concern me (it seemed like the guy was perfect on jump the snap 80% of time) but color me impressed and looking very forward to it's release. And shocked by just typing that.

I've been on a 7yr hiatus. I mean something had to have changed in 7 years? Even that usual punch to the gut by EA. If the AI has improved, especially late game???????

You bring up a great point; as awesome as those videos are, it won't mean much without improved AI. Hopefully they have made some big improvements there.

Diablo 3(PS4) - I have had the PC version for sometime, probably wait for price drop.
                              WWE 2k15
TLOU - never played it on PS3
Destiny goes to a no, I enjoyed the gameplay though I just have my doubts about how long i'll enjoy it based off the Alpha/Beta so I may pick it up after I graduate.

However, I may cave and get Madden depending on reviews since I skipped on it last year and there is no NCAA.

                                *UPDATED*

                                CURRENTLY PLAYING
Assassin's Creed II for Xbox 360. Hoping to finish it before July 29th but it's a digital purchase along with the two sequence DLC's so it's obviously not going anywhere and thus, im not in a rush to finish it.

Child of Light. Currently on chapter 10 which from what I have read is the last chapter in the game. Started playing this over six weeks ago but put it on the side to play Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed II. Since im at the end, im definitely that I'll finish this before July 29th as im trying to severely limit my backlog for PlayStation 4. Thankfully, if im able to finish Child of Light before July 29th, Mercenary Kings will be the only game that I own and have in my PlayStation 4 backlog.

                                JULY 29th
No matter what happens in regards to the above three games that I mentioned, I'll be playing The Last Of Us Remastered on July 29th. I already played it last August for PlayStation 3 but with it being a dead summer and The Evil Within being delayed, I don't have a problem playing through a great game a second time.

                                AUGUST 26th
Will be playing Madden NFL 15 but like last year, im not expecting the game to hold my interest for more than a week, if that. With that said......

                                SEPTEMBER
September will most likely be the month I replay my 2012 and 2013 game of the year in Far Cry 3 (Xbox 360) and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag respectively. By the time I finish both of these games, it will lead into....

                                OCTOBER
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor on October 7th, The Evil Within on October 21st and Assassin's Creed: Unity on October 28th. October is going to be one hell of a busy month playing games. Lords of the Fallen on October 28th is a "wait and see".

                                NOVEMBER
For me, it's all about what will be the best damn first person shooter this year, Far Cry 4. Taking all the stuff I loved about Far Cry 3, adding more and a new setting and environment puts Far Cry 4 as the number one game on my most wanted list for 2014. I'm already expecting it to be my 2014 game of the year and if history repeats, Ubisoft will give me my game of the year for the fifth straight year. With the recent six week delay, Dragon Age III: Inquisition on November 18th is a "wait and see".

                                DECEMBER
After yesterday's announcement, I now have at least one game that im buying for this month. It's the PSN game, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris on December 9th. Overall, between October 7th and December 9th, I will have at least five games in a nine week span so the remaining games that I need to finish for PlayStation 4 will be played as having a backlog going into February 2015 and the year itself isn't a good idea whatsoever.

All games will be played on PlayStation 4 unless otherwise noted.
