Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Anyways, they are yet to announce a cast or even director. So I'm thinking Quentin Tarrentino would be the perfect man to direct this. With Gerald Butler playing Joel, and Maisie Williams as Ellie. If Chloe Grace Moretz was 3-4 years younger I would say she'd be the perfect choice. But she's 17, and looks like it, so it would be hard for her to pull off Ellie, I think. So what do you guys think?
Josh Brolin would fit the role better imo.Comment

Hugh Jackman would be good as Joel. He was superb in Prisoners with Jake GyllenhaalComment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
SpoilerI think Bruce Willis (with hair of coarse) would make a good Joel too. Also I think if Tarrentino were to direct he could double as that guy who eventually kidnaps Ellie (forgot his name). Got to love this fantasy casting stuff.
EDIT - If you are not deep into the actual game do not click this spoiler.Last edited by The Chef; 08-14-2014, 03:20 PM.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
While I really love the story, this game is too stressful for me. I get way too tense playing it. Gotta trade it in. :-/. Wish I didn't feel that way. It's a beautiful game. The game is ours we'll never foul out. - Jay-Z

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
They have confirmed that this epic game is being made into a movie, with the producer of the Sparticus series on board to produce. If the movie is half as good as the game, I'm thinking it will be a legit best picture oscar nominee. But the Oscars have some anti-horror sentiment for some reason.

Couldn't you say the movie/book called "The Road" basically be a version of this?follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
All I see and hear when I look and listen to Ellie is Ellen Page. Anybody other than Ellen Page as Ellie in a TLOU film would be disappointing to me.
As for Joel, maybe Liam Neeson?Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Liam Neeson is great and all, but I don't see him as Joel. I'd probably choose Bruce Willis, Guy Pierce, Ethan Hawk, Gerald Butler or Hugh Jackman before him, but that's just me, maybe if Neeson can pull off a decent Texan accent then maybe. Also, Ellen Page is 27, that is way too old for Ellie imo. I'd prefer Maisie Williams, or Chloe Grace Moretz.Last edited by Godgers12; 08-15-2014, 08:55 PM.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
The chick from True Grit, Hailee Steinfeild (probably spelled that wrong), with a haircut, could pull off Ellie I think.
Ellie, in game, definitely looks like Page. I honestly thought she was voiced by Page before I played the game due to the similarities.
This also might sound ridiculous, but I could see Mads Mikkelsen as Joel.
I know.
It might be a crazy idea, but he is a super talented actor who could pull off the dark side along with the sentimental side and I am sure can do a good american accent.Last edited by The JareBear; 08-15-2014, 10:52 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
