Just finished playing through this for the first time the night before last. Great, great game. Great story, characters, and the ending was very satisfying.Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Started up Left Behind last night since I had reached that point in the game (so to speak) on my Plus run-through.
SpoilerThe first encounter is no joke. This game can be damn frustrating at times.

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
I finished Left Behind. There some very cool gameplay moments, but I was hoping for more:
SpoilerThe "prequel" parts were fun and rewarding to me. It was nice just being able to enjoy the two characters and their relationship running through the mall and just being a kid. The Halloween store and the fight game were my favorite parts of those sequences. Just messing around in a Halloween store is always fun and the Skull 8-Ball was hilarious to go through.
The "present" parts were okay, but this game really ups the frustration factor in this DLC. The first encounter with the Stalkers throws you into run n gun gameplay. I know the main game does this too at times and it always peeved me because I try to stealth my way through. Either way that's nothing compared to the final fight. Frustration City.
Overall its a good DLC to flesh out Ellie a little, but nothing really groundbreaking. I was hoping to actually play up to the point where she meets Joel, but it was fun to go through.

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
finished the main game and it was great. I played on survivor so it was interesting since you have tutorials and can do certain things like make a bat spiky ect, but I never had more than say 5 or 6 shivs through the entire play through. I guess that's the survivor point, but it made you choose bombs over melee power up and had me create a shiv the absolute minimum.
I booted up MP for giggles and I was surprised how cool it actually is. It was great up until I played a hard-core crew that probably plays daily and just ruined my team, then I quit out.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
