I've never used this site, how legit is it? 16.99 is ridiculous, it's normally still 49.99.Comment

The site is legit buddy. Many have purchased the game from them for this price. I purchased it and within 15 minutes they emailed me my PSN code for the game.PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
thanks, I ended up buying it and got my code as well, just seemed too good to be true! I've already beat it on PS3 but I'll definitely play through again on the PS4Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Played this online for about 2.5 hours with two friends last night. So much fun. I've played tons of cod, some battlefields, destiny, etc. this game has one of the best multiplayer experiences ever

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
So, I kind of feel a little guilty about the way I'm playing through this. Since crafting materials are so hard to come by I've sometimes resorted to just taking a death if I screw up my stealth, rather than wasting first aid kits and ammunition to barely survive. Then again, when you screw that up around a runner-clicker combo (which I seem to do often) you're probably going to die anyway.
So glad I didn't pick survivor for my first play - Hard mode with the Listen feature still seems plenty challenging enough. I'll save Survivor and Grounded for later playthroughs.
Loving the game so far, probably about 5 hours in.Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
Just catching up on this thread since I've now FINALLY beaten the main game (not that it took that long once I actually started playing - game is impossible to put down) and just wanted to comment on past posts I've seen before giving a post-mortem:
So I read these posts of people talking about playing at night with headphones on, etc. and I just keep thinking "Yeah yeah yeah..."
But now I'm finally doing it, and I'm not even really that far in the game right now (significantly less than I was on PS3), and knowing what's soon to come I am starting to **** bricks in anticipation. The late at night/headphones thing is so underrated.
Do not view this video if you have not beat the game. This is just a persons analysis, a player who has put massive hours into the game. He shares his views and a few things that maybe you missed when you played through. Hopefully you guys enjoy this video as well.
Also I said a few posts back that grounded wasn't hard. I lied. I think I stopped trying to be so tactical with next gen since I had beat the game before. I ate some humble pie and it's getting easier but still difficult. I just beat the hotel basement and advanced a little ways.
Your AI companions will not alert enemies on their own. They're purposely programmed this way.
The only way they will break stealth is if you have already done so yourself. This was done intentionally by Naughty Dog.
If they're attacking non-stealthily, you were already spotted.
Cleared the main story on hard in around 20 hours. I'll post some share button pics in the console screenshot thread. I started taking photo mode shots at first, but then thought I'd be better off doing that stuff on a second playthrough.
Still have to play Left Behind.Comment

You got that right. ****ing clickers in your ears, man....
Thanks for that link, definitely going to check that out. The story invokes a ton of different emotions and I'm still trying to piece together how I'd interpret it as a whole.
I did like this aspect, although it got a little silly when my partner could run right past an enemy that was closing in on me and not alert him. I understand why they did it, it was just kind of immersion-breaking whenever it happened.

Enjoy Left Behind. Man, I wish I could play this game again fresh. The experience of a generation...Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
The multiplayer still continues to impress I'm playing a few matches almost daily.
I made one class go commando with an automatic rifle, crafting, explosion expert, and healer and even though I've come to rely on covert #2, I was a 1 man wrecking crew with the 'louder' class that I created. I have a shotty as a secondary and the machete as a special, the machete would probably be better to be almost anything else, but I found out that if you have it equipped when you special execute a downed opponent you finish them with a big chop and it's very satisfying and I KNOW it must piss the hell out of the guy on the receiving end! lol
I now have about 1250 kills and about 1175 deaths.. that was playing catchup from around 300 kills and 500 deaths ... it takes time, but the game is so balanced that you won't ever sink too low or get too high.
Spawning way away from your team is when the game is hardest because then you're a sitting duck if it's anything but a 1 on 1 fire fight.
I finally saw a last man standing where my team mate killed all 4 of the bad guys, I've done 3 before a couple of times but got whacked in the end.
Fav weapon is the military sniper by far since a head shot will blow the other guys head clean off!Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: The Last of Us: Remastered
I just watched the video e5 posted.
Very interesting. It's crazy how many interactions I miss. I need to find a guide that tells you when and where and how to activate all the optional dialogue and find all the hidden gems and whatnot.
His viewpoints are very respectable. I stand by my assessment of the ending but I love how this is a work of art that everyone can interpret differently, based on their own life experiences and whatnot.
Just a beautiful game."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
