Re: The Last of Us: Remastered

Naughty Dog adding free maps to the game gives this game new life for me. I know they added these free maps awhile back but its nice to see this game is still very active on the online portion.

Hopping on now if anyone is interested in running some games. Ill be on until the cubs game which is in a couple of hours.

It's been a while since I've played it, but are you referring to the board where you need to fire up a generator?

If so, this board could be the sole reason I never want to play this game again, haha.
      Way too scawey!

P.S. I guess I'm really, really late to the party (more likely very daft), but I had no idea there was an online mode to this game, haha.
I received a copy of this title with my PS4 and I've yet to fire it up.
I may do that this weekend.

you should... as others have said, it's the best online shooter this gen - it's right up there with gears one and cod4 imo. It's super balanced, and satisfyingly violent when you execute some sob on the other squad, I ALWAYS choose hunter side lol

having said that, it's a learning curve and you really need to stick with it, but if you do it will go down as one of the best online experiences you can get on any console

I finally finished the game last night. Man, I just felt exhausted after playing this game and I think that's the point; survival in the world created within the game isn't supposed to be easy.

The game really was familiar in a lot of areas, but entirely unique all at the same time. Naughty Dog does a great job with layered characters and storytelling. Graphically, the game really shines on the PS4; I am glad I played it on this system as opposed to the PS3.

I really enjoyed the ending. There's a lot of ways you can break that down and I love that. I wasn't expecting that particular ending, but it was a welcomed surprise.

I'm just glad I don't have to face and Walkers or Bloaters when I turn on my PS4

Don't know if I'll ever replay this game, but I can say with certainty that this is a great game and worth having in your collection.

Naughty Dogs character development is some of the best I've ever come across in video games. Uncharted was the same in that regard.

My favorite scene of the game, so far, is when the
                Spoiler
show up. That was really kind of emotional to me. I stood there with Ellie for a few extra minutes just soaking it in.

Finished it off last night. Wow! What an emotional roller coaster of a game. Loved every minute of it. I still find it hard to ever put a game ahead of Red Dead Redemption, but I have to admit, this got really close.

Better sit down and finish your break.

Don't forget The Last of Us: Left Behind, which is about an extra 2 hour extension. It's not over yet.

Yep. I'm gonna need a minute before I start that. Lol! Kind of emotionally drained. Haven't been so involved in a story line since Red Dead.

Ha! Our gaming tastes are very similar. Red Dead is my all time favorite but LoU is right there at 1A. I think I've played through this title four times now.

last night was my first actual execution with the military sniper. Blew his head clean off, then turned around and saw his buddy pop up over a rock to try and get me and I ended up scoping quickly and blew his head off too.

For pure violence this game takes the cake. And if someone kills you and you go out of your way to kill him and do it execution style it's more satisfying than any other game imo.

(reading that back I sound like a psycho lol)

I captured the vido though with the share button so if I ever get around to it I'll upload that murder spree

Played through Left Behind this weekend. Obviously, I already knew it couldn't be a happy ending, but, WOW. I don't think I could feel more depressed. That whole game just gets ya right in the feels.
