Anyone know if it will support Atmos on Xbox One?

Got this game super cheap and just played it for the first time on Series X, with my Arctis 7X. I thought The Medium was really cool with the headset, but wow this game is something else lol. What a trip.

Downloaded H2 from Game Pass since I enjoyed the first one as well as being a fan of NT's work. I will say, this is the best graphics I've ever played. I'm enjoying it for what it is, however almost 30 mins in there's a very noticeable lack of gameplay. I'm also hoping for more combat and less puzzles. We'll see.

And those damn voices in my head!

Here's the Opener. It's like 5 mins long. You'll have the option to skip it or listen thru if you like too now and skip it. There's no spoilers, but an overview of Senua 's story.

I've yet to play, in 30 minutes if there's not much gameplay then what is it, cut scenes? Exposition? Back story?

Without spoiling anything you will be close to a walking sim with controls navigating thru your journey. The opening part could have been such an incredible opportunity for some type of combat but your watching the whole thing. Your journey to the top is the game credits using controls as you make your way.

So much missed opportunity so far.

Edit:
However, I will say, graphics are amazing and best I've seen. It isn't fare to compare this with Sony's The Order because the stories are so different but I can't help think how similar they are in other ways.

Ok, thanks for explaining. Honestly I feel as if this is why I didn't get too far in the first one. I'm not the most patient person and, although I do love cut scenes in amazing graphics, if it goes on too long I am thinking "I should be playing (whatever game) right now" LOL

I am going to try it as I keep hearing about the first game and sometimes, with me, it takes a bit for a game to interest me, so I've got it downloaded but honestly I'm already thinking about playing DIablo 4 barbarian even as I type this to you

I'm glad it is on Gamepass because this is one I'm hoping to get into but sort of doubting it after reading what you wrote now....

Yeah this is more like an interactive movie. I tried it last night for an hour and lost interest. Graphics are pretty damn good though. Reviewers said the game last about 5 hours.

Re: Hellblade

I'm just watching a walk through on YouTube since I don't have Xbox/Gamepass. Immediately, it's a definitely a graphical showcase for this generation. For me, it's this game and Alan Wake 2 as far as best visuals so far this generation. If it truly does lack gameplay, I probably won't watch most of the walk through. I don't know if the gameplay is intentionally slower paced, but you can tell that its 30fps just by watching. Watched 30+ minutes, it looks fantastic visually. I just can't get into it

I don't really have an issue with a shorter game. Not every game needs to be a 30-50+ hour experience and Open World. I recently played Rise of the Ronin and I put in 60 hours into that game(probably the most I put into a game in a long while). In theory, that sounds great to put that much time in. But, games like that are very repetitive and drags. I was half way through RoTR and thinking that the game is taking forever to finish. I just don't think 5 hours is good though. It seems like a good Gamepass option, but nothing I would buy. I would be happy with a 10-12 hour linear game with great level designs, gameplay mechanics, and great story over a 30-50 hour experience that's filled with fluff

But seeing that this is on Unreal 5, does have me looking forward to some of the future UE5 releases with how good the visuals are in this game.

Re: Hellblade

Downloaded it, played a few hours and then deleted it...this game probably has the best visuals I have ever seen in a console game but my GOD! is it boring...lol

I definitely understand the appeal for others though, it's just not something I enjoyed.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.
