Just saw this on steam and I was wondering if anybody here on OS was in the BETA and playing this? Sounds like a lot of fun, especially Co-op with some folks on here.

I've played like an hour or two of it. Game was bit of a challenge in a frustrating and good way if that makes sense. If you don't care about graphics and want a fun game, then it's not a bad choice. I haven't played it in awhile, but when I did, it was next to impossible to find enough materials to survive more than an hour in real life. Of course I could have been terrible.

I've played it a bit. Even playing minecraft for a long time didn't help a whole lot with the 7DTD crafting system. But I would definitely recommend buying it. I've only played single player so far, and it definitely is the kind of game that you get more enjoyment from playing with other people.

So, big bump here, but this game has changed so much since this thread was created that it's almost not even the same game. I had forgotten all about this game after playing it very little, but then I saw the PS4 announcement trailer and looked back at this game, decided to install it on Steam, and now I've played it nonstop this weekend with my buddy.
This game is so challenging in just the right way. It nails down so many things in a fashion that I love compared to other games in the genre. I actually have to hunt on a regular basis to provide food for myself and my buddy. I have to make runs to explore the map and find a massive variety of supplies so that we can keep building our defenses up, keep gearing ourselves up, and just to keep plain ole surviving. Every time it gets close to dark I make sure I run back to camp with time to spare as I actually fear what the night brings. I always feel vulnerable and never secure or immortal.
If you want a game that makes you feel on edge at all times and is a real challenge without forcing a repetitive grind, then at least look into this game. I really did not like it very much when it first came out, but now that every single aspect has been completely overhauled I love it. It has become a game that is almost everything I have always wanted in a survival game.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I have it for PC so doubt I get for PS4.

No every 7 days there is a massive horde of zombies that gets increasingly harder. The game is a blast but I dont have any friends on pc and tend to play more multiplayer on console. Will be picking this one up for ps4 as solo it is fun to play and given the mechanics I can imagine if executed properly on console will be a fantastic experience multiplayer.Comment
