Anybody up for playing tonight? I figure with the pool of players we have we just have rotating servers. Might not be a bad idea for each of us to start a game and choose who's game we will play that night.

Yea we were in Jare's game tonight but I think we each have one.

I'm not going to lie, this game isn't for everyone. The learning curve is a bit more than most games. Add to that how difficult the game can punish you and it could probably run off some gamers.

It accounts for everything, starving, thirst, heat exhaustion. You have to constantly keep an eye on everything, that's almost a game within the game lol.

I'm pretty overwhelmed right now with it, but the three guys I played with tonight were helpful (Jare, candy, dogslax41) and made it much easier.

I think there's a glitch that makes your sleeping bag roll kinda de-equip itself and you have to pick it up and put it back down. If you don't happen to notice and you die say goodbye to the group, it'll spawn you naked and far from the group. Yikes.

Nothing like being in your crafting menu and 14 ninja zombies creep up on you with no sound and start to pound on you lol.

They need to address them being silent sometimes.

I have it, but only meddled with the SP.

Other than the menu being a little difficult to navigate I don't have too many problems with it. I'm hoping they change it up to suit the console a little better.

Got a lot accomplished in my SP game tonight. Then the game crashed... Now my SP save won't load. It tries but then crashes game..

I know to expect that but with this game but this royally sucks.

I spent three hours of gaming time with my cousin last night.

My first experience with the game. I see a lot of what everyone is talking about with bugs but it's not so bad. I didn't encounter any game killing ones during a play through.

It's a fun game, especially with someone. We spent the first two days looking for each other. Luckily the game has coordinates. Then the two days after we worked together to figure out how things work while dying from dysentery.

Now revived, and with some extra knowledge on things like boiling water, we saved just as we plan to scavenge for food.

3 days till we die.

My son who is a Minecraft expert/junkie was jumping for joy when I told him this game was released for PS4. SO naturally I picked it up and we are playing split screen co-op and having a lot of fun.

He is really sharp and teaching me all about the Minecraft crafting mechanics. We are on day 3 and have fortified a house to prepare for the first hoard on the 7th day. We ventured to a drug store and have successfully had 2 supply drops (we set it to every 24 hours as well as 75% zombie spawning and only losing our tool belt if we die vs backpacks or both). The game is no joke. It is a tough game and highly realistic in terms of needing to be aware of water, food, supplies, weather etc.

Graphics like everyone has said are piss poor. But this is not a game you play for graphics and eye candy. The crafting and leveling/perk system is quite deep. The controls are decent and easy enough and it is an obvious Alpha build. Hopefully the burst of revenue they generate from the console release can get them to make some fast updates to smooth out bugs and increase the quality of the game.

My son is thrilled we have a couch co-op game like this to play together. I don't care for Minecraft at all, but this is in my wheelhouse. Zombies and survival? Yeah I can dig that.

Well guess I won't be playing until these are sorted out. If only they would allow multiple saves I would at least (Hopefully) have a alternate save I could load.
I had leveled up a good bit and was really finally getting very comfy with controls and the ins/outs of the game.

Yep it's one of those "coal" right now but you can see the diamond coming. It really is a fun game.
Last night before my game crash I did die once. I got into one of my "Just one more building I want to scavenge through. then I'll figure out water resupply, food and the cracked leg ..etc.."
......and dropped dead on way back to my base.

Started a new game today. Played for a couple hours with no issues. Quit game to go away for a while...
just got home and fired up game. New save won't load and game crashes.
Tried twice...no luck.

Well.....

I checked out the web world and seen this:
Initiate the application, then go to OPTIONS on the main menu and select a different character.
Go to your saved file and start it and you should be able to game normally.

It worked... So either issue with character I had or just changing character fixes (For a while but hopefully for good)!! So back to my game ... as Hank
