Gran Tourismo, it seems more like a collecting cars and driving game than an actual racing game...from what I hear the racing AI is pretty bad

Very good calls by you cats. Couldn't agree more with:

1. Metal Gear Solid 2. Was this a movie, a cut scene producer's wet dream, or a video game?

2. State of Emergency. What a mess. Not everything Rockstar touches turns to gold.

3. Gran Turismo 3. This game was nothing but GT 2 with prettier graphics. Yawn ...

4. NASCAR Thunder 2002, 2003. Quite simply the worst attempts at a racing sim I've ever played.

5. FIFA 2001. Holy sh*t -- anyone remember how bad the first FIFA for next-gen systems was? It was hockey on grass. Sadly, the series hasn't improved much at all since then.

6. Top Spin. Way too much reliance on trick shots, which led to incredible online cheese, plus no in-tournament saves offline. A huge letdown.

7. True Crime. A really bad GTA clone.

8. MechAssault. The worst Xbox Live game I've played. The game always devolves into two mechs standing about 10 meters apart and firing until one falls to the ground. That's fun?

9. Medal of Honor Rising Sun. This franchise needs a serious upgrade or to be put out of its misery. Taking 10 bullets before you drop was fun in the pre-Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six days for the Xbox. Now it's outdated as hell.

10. Amped 2. Other than online play, the first game was WAY better. Amped 2 put way too much emphasis on grinding and not enough on aerial tricks like the original. The music and mountain design were better in the original, too.

Bingo -- perfect analysis. You heard correctly.

Sega GT 2002 isn't any better -- it's worse, in fact. Once you unlock the Ford GT 40 Concept car, any race is a snap to win in SGT 2002. Problem is, you unlock the GT 40 Concept about halfway through the game.

Another game I pick is Full Spectrum Warrior. It was prasied all to hell but got rather stale and repetitive by the 3rd mission. Good innovations but the game was to linear.
