Re: Assassin's creed Victory
I've bought / played every version of AC since the start, even played every hand held version. AC3 was a little boring (though enjoyed ending!), hated the boat/shipping in Black Flag (but still finished), but Unity has ruined the series for me. I can't enjoy it on any level. I hope they right the ship with Victory, but at this point I've lost faith in the developers....
Hopefully Victory is a different studio than the makers who gave us Unity. Anyone know?Comment

Victory is being developed by the Quebec studio. They developed AC III for Wii U and all of the DLC for AC III in general. Below is a rundown of their games. It's not exactly good but I think a fresh studio developing Victory is a good thing.

Re: Assassin's creed Victory
I can't help but feel disappointed because I'm not a huge AC fan and it mean I likely won't see another splinter cell until 2016 or even 2017 (if at all)

Re: Assassin's creed Victory
Maybe I just have extremely low expectations and easily pleased or a very short memory than everyone else, but I still like the franchise and enjoy Unity. But to each their own.
I had no issues with Black Flag, and can't recall any issues it did have, so I think it's unfair to say Ubisoft has ruined the past few releases. As far as I can tell from most people here, Unity is the only one (aside from ACIII for story/boring reasons) that people don't like thanks to changes in the gameplay and technical issues.Comment

Re: Assassin's creed Victory
Feudal Japan would be interesting to me. A good mix of small towns, cities, and wilderness.

Re: Assassin's creed Victory
Their reasoning for not doing Japan is that it's been done by a lot of other games, and they prefer periods/places less explored by other games. I kinda get that.Comment
