Was waiting for all the episodes before picking it up, like playing these games all over the course of a week.

Pretty excited to start this tomorrow

That was my plan, too, but then I played the first episode and got hooked. I spread it out a bit though, so it hasn't been too long before the final episode is out tomorrow.

Wow, Dontnod knocked the finale out of the park. IMO the best episode of the season.

I choose the sacrifice Chloe in the end, really curious to see look up the other ending though and see what happens. Right now its a perfect split as 50% have chosen each ending.

You could see many of the story beats coming (using Warren's photo to go back, having to make the choice to manipulate time and save Chloe, or just let everything play out) but it was so well executed. They surprise you along the way too with some really great scenes, especially that trippy alternate realities scene.

The only problem I really had with it was that stealth section. No idea why they had that in the game since it doesn't play well at all or fit the game.

Just completed Episode 5....Amazing finish is all I have to say.

This has to be one of the best damn games I've ever played, story, acting and final graphics of Episode 5 were amazing...Loved it x1000...

Just finished playing the final episode and MAN does this game gives you an emotional ride. All in all, i absolute loved the characters and the story. Hope this game gets GOTY honor because this game beats out all the games i played since the Last of US

Heartbreaking finale.

The best story game I've played since TLOU. It should be an easy pick for Game of the Year.

I sacrificed the town. Also kissed Warren because that dude hadn't gotten anything the rest of the game. No regrets.

The nightmare stuff was good, aside from the stealth part, like Sandman said. I liked the taunting from the other characters during it - it just seemed out of place. Liked the retrospective walk past all the moments in the game, and the Max/Max conversation in the diner.

I didn't. Being a guy, I was thinking as one and was like "nah". But then my gf reminded me I have to play as her. I honestly think she liked him more as a friend. So, I still stuck w/ the hug. I think he really liked her, but she didn't feel the same. Better as friends.

I sacrificed Chloe. Couldn't destroy everyone. It seemed like it was meant for her to go. And Max and her actually kissed on the lips in the end. So I am not sure if Max is kinda you know lol. Wonder if that happened to everyone.

The storm might wipe out this town and you still just hugged him? You have a strictly-enforced friend zone. I agree that she wasn't that into him, but I thought it felt right to give him a pity kiss.

I debated with destroying the town, but chose to do it because (aside from keeping the Max and Chloe team going), it almost felt like letting Chloe die would be a cop out. Like, we see this whole game unravel because Max used her powers. To go back on that just seemed off to me. She'd lose her best friend, but wouldn't have to deal with the overall consequences of all the other things that happened.

Choosing to save Chloe is selfish in the sense that she gets to stay with her friend but also has to live with destroying the town. This ending is left open as to how many people actually ended up dying too. They don't show anyone else alive afterward, but when they pan across the town I think the diner was still in tact, so people there may have survived? Is David still in the dark room (presumably safe from the storm)? There are some unanswered questions.

I don't know. I'll have to YouTube or play the other ending to compare.

Probably a little more. Maybe 12-15? Each episode is about 2.5 hours. More if you explore and collect all the photos.

Max only kisses Chloe at the end, if you kissed her at during that moment in Episode 3 I think.

Man, what a fantastic finale. I loved everything about it. Great ride and supremely well done with the story. This reminded me of the Butterfly Effect a lot, which is one of my favorite movies. I might go through the story again if I ever forget the majority of it.

Assisting with her death before was another reason I decided to spare her at the end. I killed her once. Then in the finale I told David the truth about Jefferson killing her. Might be inconsistent now that you mention it but I felt like Max already experienced the "Kill Chloe and see how it effects people" thing in my game, along with my other comment of Max finally having to deal with the consequences of her actions.

Watched the other ending on YouTube, and I can say it was probably meant as the "right" ending, just based on how much more was put into it. In comparison, the ending to sacrifice the town seems like they ran out of time/budget to flesh it out a little more.
