For what it's worth, I went with Far Cry 4.
Haha! After reading that I thought of this! I wish Sony would bring back Kevin Butler!

Ha! Good point. A game that lets you create and share new levels never really gets "beat," does it? Part of the reason that I still have ModNation Racers, in fact. Probably should have said..."after playing through all of the main story levels" instead. Like I was trying to say, it's a great game and I don't think any less of the MANY people that enjoy it. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Anyway, for the few that came in later suggesting NBA, I did end up getting that one (and Dragon Age), too. I traded in a bunch of PS3 stuff and had a $50 off coupon so it was basically free, too. Just played the intro game so far but I like it. (BTW, I'm not a HUGE basketball fan but I really like 2k's NBA games. I really get into the playoffs IRL tho)

Since there are some cool folks in here, feel free to toss out some suggestions for new games, too. Obviously, LBP3 has some support but here is what I have so far:

      Dragon Age: Inquisition
      Far Cry 4
      FIFA 15
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (pretty cool and my kids love it...just wish it allowed more than 2 players so we could all play)
      Madden 15
      NBA 2k15

I'm probably going to pick up Middle-Earth at some point and would like a decent (not too sim but not too arcade) racing game. Had Last of Us on PS3 and might grab that sometime, too. Open to other thoughts though...had planned to stick with PS3 so haven't done a ton of research on this gen's games until lately.

So far, so good. Not really one I can play with the kids around so time has been limited lately. Definitely seems like something I'm going to enjoy though.

Most likely, yes. I'm definitely excited to see what this gen can do with it.

Since you have kids, I'd suggest Knack, it's cheap now and I purchased it with my ps4 since there weren't really any games out on release and was pleasantly surprised at how fun it turned out to be. The Co-Op is pretty terrible though since the second player just gets some tiny little Knack wannabe who can die over and over and it won't affect anything, that was my biggest complaint.

Yeah maybe for kids but Knack was a bore fest after the first 15 minutes or so. Linear (VERY) gameplay.
